Team Colors: Black, Old Gold (like the New Orleans Saints) and White

Style of Play: Very old-school smashmouth football. Establish the run (good RBs, strong O-Line), bend don't break defense (average D, good LBs.)

Stadium: Open stadium, Murphy Field, Baseball/Football grass combo (I think you could do those on the PS2, if not, then natural grass)

Division: Atlantic North

Extra info: Providence is a team with a rich history. Around since the early 1900s, the Aces have been one of the most prolific franchises in football outside of the NFL, boasting a number of championships. This includes winning 6 straight titles in the now-defunct American Football Federation of America, which ran from 1920-1928.

Their stadium is named after the running back that led them to these six straight: Paul Murphy, jersey number 5.

Altke, thanks for the team. Yes, you can use the baseball-type field on the PS2.

I've been busy, but I'll start this back up. I'm also most likely getting a PS3 as a present from my parents (along with Madden '11). However, my friend, who has PS3, already showed me the logos for it and I like the PS2's logos better. More variety, so I'll still use the PS2 and Madden '10.

I'll possibly rearrange the teams tomorrow. To tired tonight.

I just thought of something. Instead of an all-American league, why not a international league? I'll have a American Division and International Division, not sure about the sub-divisions yet. It would mean I would have to cut back on the American teams and look for some good international teams.

What do you guys think? Should I go with a global league or nay? I'm leaning towards the global league, but I want you guys opinion.

I decided to turn this into a international football league. There's going to be a American Division and International Division. Also, for the members who made two teams in the original idea, I decided to eliminate one team and keep the other. That way they have at least one team in the league.

I'll allow you guys to make one American team and one International team. No more than that.

Style of Play: Speedy offensive team; halfback is a speedy, shifty runner, and passing game is very robust. D-Line is suspect, but secondary has good safeties and ball hawk corners.

Division: International, East Asian

Extra info: Sponsored by a company in Japan, advertising a sports drink product with a somewhat unfortunate name, provided you're an English speaker, this upstart franchise is looking to put professional football on the map in a country that already loves baseball.

Altke, yeah, I put the Aces in the Atlantic division of the American League. And thanks for the team. You gave me an idea for the International Division's subdivisions, East/West Asia and East/West Europe. I'll probably use that if I can't think of anything.

Also, I bought a used Madden NFL '11 (PS2) at GameStop, so I'm going to use that instead of Madden '10.

My friend, who has a PS3, still buys Madden for the PS2 just so he can do this. He even made a international league once. He gave me the permission to submit it.
