"A Little About the Coach"
"He led the Staples High School to the Connecticut State Playoffs 4 years in a row, winning one state championship and coming close many times. This was all done with what was said as a far lesser talented team than most teams in the state. Coach Ryan was fired from his job as Head Coach after he struck a referee after a questionable call that cost his team a second state championship.

His overall record in his 4 years of being a Head Coach is 43-3. The man was brought into the league to win, and is now looking around to become a Coach at the NCAA level. With a track record like him he shouldn't have a problem finding some job in college football even if he has to start from the gutters and work himself up. We will be following his career here in ESPN Stamford so check back for updates.

The Ground Rules
The Gameplay

-The object of this dynasty is to be as life like and realistic as possible with the dynasty. I plan on losing, and losing a lot. The fun part will be turning this horrid dynasty into something decent to follow.

-I will hand pick my recruits, but will not touch the in game recruiting during the season. I will let the default AI do all of my in game recruiting for me as this makes it more challenging to build an impressive team in the foreseeable future.

-All offensive plays will be chosen from the first three plays given to me on the new offensive system, thus stopping me from abusing any type of money plays.

-On Defense I have to use the player lock feature, this will help me keep the player ratings in control rather than me user controlling an entire team.

The Dynasty

-Every week I will choose one interesting storyline that happened and follow up on it. Whether it be a falsity in example a player accepted bribe money from an agent and got kicked off of the team or an underdog defeating a powerhouse, something will be reported each week.

-Each one of my EMU games will be posted with pictures and full statistics from the game with a follow up explaining what happened. Followed by a short coach press conference so you can really grasp the genius of Keith Ryan.

-Every three weeks I will give you an updated change of rankings, the Heisman race, and standings for the Mac Conference to keep you updated on whats going on around the league.

-This place is to turn a player into a Legend. Whether they played there heart out there entire collegiate career for the coach. Or just had one ground breaking spectacular play that defied all odds, he will find his name here. This is a place where Immortal's are born and never forgotten. For each player given the honor of being on this list, there number will be retired and a brief description and bio will be given for what that player did to be on this list.

Coaches Comments: Not a big shocker that we don't place on this list. After the program suffered one of its most embarrassing seasons at 0-12 last season, it seams as if people are expecting us to do more of the same and just whither away and die. It's nice to see four mid major teams fighting for ranking and one day in the foreseeable future I hope to have this team fighting for top ranking as a mid-major team.

Coach's Comment: We already picked to be dead last in the division, so this is just adding more fuel to the fire to prove everyone wrong this season. This season may not be flashy in any sort. But it's time someone builds this team an identity, instead of the same ol' picture of the Eastern Michigan Eagles being the worst team in 1-A Football.
