Austin Freeman-13 points
They did a good stop of stopping us in the 2nd half. They were able to stop our backdoor screens and such and did a good job of challenging me all game. I only was able to shoot the ball 5 times so they also did a good job of keeping the ball away from me. We have a tough game against NC state so we need to bring our A game but we're ready. They have a good defense and like us, they do a good job of shooting from downtown and they share the rock.

Game Preview
VS.
Predictions
Kirk: FIU is coming off an embarrassing loss, and Coach Borges hates losing, especially back to back losses. FIU's running game should be back on track and with a new QB, Boston College may get a blindside loss.
Corso: BC's season is not over yet, they still have a shot at the Conference Championship and a win over FIU will leave their matchup vs. FSU as the decisive battle for the Atlantic Division. BC gonna be hungry and the fact that they are at home gives them an advantage.
FIU bounce backs from loss with trashing of BC
Jefferson and Holloway lead FIU to a win behind a solid running game

Good game, our running game was great. Coach told me before the game, hey, you don't have to go out and win this game, just don't lose it. He felt like if I went out there and simply managed the game, throw a few first down passes that we could win this game and we did. We have number 1 Georgia Tech ahead and I feel pretty confident about taking them on and beating them.

Re: Layout Testing Thread
thanks, best part is most of these don't take too long. the ncaa basketball and the nba one takes about 10-15 minutes max, 5-10 if u are a fast typer. the ones that take the most are the football one's since there is team stats and scoring summary and all that and barely takes 20 minutes...Comment

The caption font (Johnson leads Hawks...) would look better modified to match the surrounding fonts. Looks like Times new Roman if I'm not mistaken. Not very "Tv" friendly of a font.
Just my 2 cents.Comment

Re: Layout Testing Thread
Kahuma - I like both designs. Obviously they need to be bigger to be legible.
Second, my personal perference is to never include bolded font within the context of an article. Even if the selected font is not "bolded", it still appears as the font color is too strong. I would aim for a more "thin" font.
For example:
