Hey guys, I own two sports games that I play year-round. Those two games are MLB: The Show and Madden. I always play all of my games, I never simulate. I have some ideas for this time around, however.
Madden: Usually, I start up a franchise with the New York Jets. This time around, i'd like to try something different. I would either like to create my own character and I would post my updates in a "blog-type" format - a first person perspective from the player's view.
OR...
I would take the position of a young new coach (or General Manager? ) and just post stuff about the team, around the league stuff, and all those updates you would expect to see coming from a GM.
MLB The Show:
I always start a franchise with the Yankees. If I were to post something on here, i'd probably start with a team with a low budget, or a team that really doesn't compete. I would take the role as GM and try to put together a dynasty. I know I said earlier that I play all my games, but for this i'd sim, that way we can get through the season faster.
OR....I could create a player and do the same thing as I would for my Madden player.
