Boston Red Sox dynasty on MVP

I don't know how much I will update this but I just felt like writing a little about my dynasty. My brother and I play in the same one by having one of us pitch and the other hit each game. We play on straight MVP level and play one game from every regular season series and every playoff game. We won the AL east this year, winning 95 games. Tim Wakefield was Cy Young with Pedro Martinez second runner up. Manny Ramirez led the league with 54 HR and batted .311 with 118 RBI. We hit 30 HR with David Ortiz and 24 with Trot Nixon so although I agree lefties done't seem to hit the ball as far, it is definitely possible to get your share of dingers with them. The playoffs have been amazing. In the divisional series we battled the Mariners. Going into the bottom of the ninth of game five we were down 2-1. My brother was batting and managed to draw a walk and a single with one out to bring up Trot Nixon. With a 2-1 count Sasaki threw a high fastball that Trot hit the other way over the green monster for a walk-off series ending homer. It was the best moment I have ever had in a baseball videogame. The ALCS pitted us against the Toronto Blue Jays. We jumped out to a 2 games to none lead but they rallied back with 2 wins at their park. We split the next two and again it came down to the last game of the series. My brother pitched a 9 inning gem with Pedro Martinez giving up 1 run and striking out 14. However, going into the bottom of the ninth I had only managed 1 run myself. However, with one out, I doubled with Millar and Varitek was intentionally walked. I fouled off a couple of pitches with Pokey Reese before drawing a walk to load the bases for Johnny Damon. Then, with the count 2-0, the pitcher came to me with a low inside fastball that I raked through the 1b/2b hole to bring in the game and series winning run! Two series ending with 9th inning hits in the final game of the series is just unbelievable. Now we are tied with the Marlins at 2 games a piece with game five in Fenway coming up tonight. It should be fun!
