Reverse the Curse - Boston Red Sox (MVP 2004)

I only play 1 game every series. I've already played a few games and am in the middle of April heading into my first series with the Yankees. Our record thus far is horrible.

I'm using Gomer and Kerm's newest rosters (5/5) with Pared's newest All-Star sliders. I hit a HR with David Ortiz (lefty)!!!

    Pitching Rotation:

    1 RHP Pedro Martinez
    2 RHP Curt Schilling
    3 RHP Derek Lowe
    4 RHP Tim Wakefield
    5 RHP Bronson Arroyo

    Batting Order:

    vs RHP

    1 CF Johnny Damon
    2 3B Bill Mueller
    3 SS Nomar Garciaparra
    4 LF Manny Ramirez
    5 DH David Ortiz
    6 1B Kevin Millar
    7 RF Trot Nixon
    8 C Jason Varitek
    9 2B Pokey Reese

    vs LHP

    1 CF Johnny Damon
    2 3B Bill Mueller
    3 SS Nomar Garciaparra
    4 LF Manny Ramirez
    5 1B Kevin Millar
    6 DH Ellis Burks
    7 C Jason Varitek
    8 RF Gabe Kapler
    9 2B Mark Bellhorn

Lost in a 10 inning heartbreaker to the Yanks, 6-5. Derek Lowe came out with a no decision after pitching 6 innings giving up 3 earned runs. Game winning run came on a sacrifice fly to right field by Alex Rodriguez.

Just lost a game vs the "1st place" Toronto Blue Jays 6-4. Things aren't looking good as we stand at 4-11.

Bronson Arroyo pitched outstanding against the Yanks in the Bronx, going 7 innings giving up no runs and solidifying himself as the #5 starter for the time being.

We are currently riding a 7 game winning streak and are tied in 2nd with the rest of the AL East behind the 1st place Toronto Blue Jays.

Played 2 more games series. We are now one of the hottest teams in baseball along with the Yankees and are just a half game back of the First Place New York Yankees.
