How many columns do you have? You make it sound like you have 7, in which case it would be colspan="7". Also make sure you are putting it in the cell tag, not the row tag.

How do you get the Team name in the Middle? I did the colspan="8" into the < td > part and it just stays to the left.

add: style="text-align:center" to the table tag. Also, don't forget to use that website I gave you, it is a great souce, and where I learned what I know.

That looks really good, especially for someone who didn't know much about it a while ago. Just one thing, I would bold the headings for the coulumns. Like IP, H, R, ER, BB, SO, HR, ERA. I have been guilty of not doing that myself lately, lol

All right, just another question: How do you get scores side-by-side? Like on ESPN?

You have to put both tables in another table. I'm not perfect with this yet, I can't figure how to get the top to line up because they are different heights. Anyone know?

                        Guys -

I don't mind you posting trial HTML, but don't do anything that redefines the page borders.

I appreciate the link you gave, and will use it. However, could you explain exactly what I put in my code that caused it?

Can someone take a look at this HTML table I put together and explain why I have such a big gap between the cell that reads "Home Game" and the schedule table that is way down the screen???

I'm trying to learn HTML and this represents my first effort.

It probably has something to do with not taking the spaces out of the html.

Spaces?? I don't understand. Does all of the HTML code need to be scrunched into one continuous line (row)?? I know I'm knew to this stuff, but that would seem hard to read and troubleshoot.......Hmmmm
