I'm no expert, but in my opinion the school names might need to be a tad darker or the numbers. Something to just make it more distinguishable. Size looks good though. Might make the heisman logo just a little bit taller, looks a little flat.

I can try to raise the Heisman image, I can't remember how close I was to the top of the slide. And the logos will look nicer when this goes into the thread for real.

Re: Dynasty Layout Testing Thread
I like it beast! The picture looks a little distorted but I am assuming that is just because of testing purposes. If you wanted to display more of the top25 you could eliminate showing both polls and instead have 1-10 in one column and 11-20 in the other but to be honest, I think it is good the way it is. THUNDER BOUNCE BACK AGAINST WARRIORS
Durant scores 39 with ease | Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 26 points | Thunder lose Jones possibly for the season
Highlights from the win over the Warriors.
OAKLAND, CA -- The Thunder and the Warriors entered the game Monday with both teams looking to prove something. The Thunder are looking to show that Reggie Jackson's injury won't slow them down despite the 2 losses they have incurred since his injury. The Warriors are trying to stay in the running for the playoffs and prove that they belong there with the rest of the very powerful Western Conference. This combined for an excellent game at Oracle Arena for the fans. It included over 15 lead changes and some high flying action from both teams.
This game would be a ferocious one from the very beginning as both teams got off to a hot start scoring bucket after bucket but the Thunder would enter half time with a 55-49 lead. The Warriors would then come out in the third quarter and out score the Thunder to tie up the game at the end of the third quarter. This set up a showdown for the win in the fourth quarter. Once again the two teams would trade buckets until about midway through the fourth quarter. Then the Thunder were able to get a run with a combination of excellent fast break offense and some great defense on Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Once the Thunder got the lead they would not give it up and would finally pick up a win after the two game slide.
In other news the Thunder lost another player to injury. Perry Jones came in during the 2nd quarter and attempted his only shot of the game. As the three pointer went flawlessly through the net, Jones landed awkwardly. Jones tore his Achilles tendon while landing from his shot and will be out 4-6 months. He is not completely ruled out from being out for the season but would only return for a deep run in the playoffs. Jones was having the best season of his 3 year career averaging 10.9 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 1.9 APG. He really was a key player for the Thunder while Kevin Durant was out with his injury and his help of the bench will be sorely missed.
Kevin Durant turned out his shooting performance from last game, shooting 60% from the floor tonight. That would result in him scoring 39 points to lead the Thunder in scoring. Durant also added 13 rebounds and 7 assists to earn a double-double and fall short of a triple double. Russell Westbrook would add 25 points of his own but seemed to have some trouble holding on to the ball with 5 turnovers. Westbrook also struggled shooting going 45% from the floor, missing all four three point attempts and going 50% from the free throw line. Other notables were Steven Adams with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Serge Ibaka with 6 points and 15 rebounds.
The Thunder will get a day off before they travel to Sacramento to play the Kings. Last time they met was December 16th and the Thunder came away with an easy 129-102 win to make the season series 2-0 in the Thunder favor. Slowing down DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay will be the key point for the Thunder and Kevin Durant will look to put up a similar game to his 37 point effort in the last game they played. Make sure to tune into the action at 7:00pm as the Thunder continue their quest for a NBA championship

Taylor Makes Most of Minutes
Gets another double-double to add to impressive start
By Johnson Peoples last updated Feburary 6th, 2015
Taylor is seen here sending back Reggie Jackson's shot
Taylor came off the bench late in the first quarter and didn't waste any time to score his first bucket of the game. That attitude and tone that he set would carry him for the rest of the time in was in this game against Oklahoma City. It was the second game in a row for the Pelicans against Oklahoma City and it would end similar, with a loss. However, this time it was not the blowout that it was last time and New Orleans would only lose by 10.
Last year's MVP, Kevin Durant, would lead the charge against the Pelicans by scoring 32 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for a double-double. He did all this with 4 in the first half and only picked up 1 foul in the second half and still played 40 minutes. Serge Ibaka would add in 31 of his own points to help out the Thunder cause.
The front court is what held it down for New Orleans combining for a total of 50 points (Davis 21, Asik 15, Taylor 14) each of those men also grabbed a significant number of rebounds (Davis 9, Asik 7, Taylor 13). With such talent in the post many experts are wondering if New Orleans will look to shop one of their centers. Asik is the current starter and has the starting spot locked for now but undrafted rookie James Taylor has been on a tear and just earned his second 10 day contract. He also has obtained a double-double in the past two games he has played in, showing he is a spark coming off the bench.
Taylor's Stats
16 MIN, 14 PTS, 13 REB, 1 AST, 2 BLK, 1 TO, 6-8 FG, 2-3 FT, 7 OR, 102 +/-

Can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe @James needs to be reigned in a little. Someone's gotta take some responsibility for these losses, and I think it's gotta be him.Last edited by jct32; 11-24-2015, 09:20 PM.Comment

2016 MIAMI REDHAWKS SCHEDULE & RESULTS
STARTING STRONG
Description
Miami notches their first MAC win of 2015 against Central Michigan
The Miami RedHawks have recorded their first MAC win of the 2015 season with a 38-35 defeat over Central Michigan this afternoon in Oxford. The win comes as Miami’s first over the Chippewa’s in over three years; their last meeting ended in a 34-27 loss.
This one was an absolute shootout for both teams as they combined for 1101 total offense yards, 1126 in total. A key third-down conversion catch by Rokeem Williams and a late field goal attempt Kaleb Patterson sealed the victory for Miami who now moves on with their second straight win after taking a 39-33 victory last week against Western Kentucky.
“They came out extremely aggressive with their pass attack, we had to respond or else we would’ve been out of it before it even started,” offensive coordinator James Houston stated.
Austin Gearing continued up on his impressive season with another career topping game, last week he threw for 356 yards, this week it was 367 and four touchdowns.
“His success is coming from pure hard work,” head coach Chuck Martin stated. “The fact that he went from seriously considering changing positons to d-end to now nearly leading the nation in passing yards is truly amazing.”
Gearing’s 10 touchdowns ranks in the nation’s top 20 while his 1501 passing yards through just five games comes in at #3 amongst all quarterbacks.
“It’s a dream come true,” he says. “I’ve been waiting for my time to come here for quite a while and now that it’s here even I can’t believe it’s going this good. Like I said, it’s a dream come true.”
Gearing’s first touchdown was a 23 yarder to Sam Martin to the first quarter. That was then followed up by a two yard dump pass to Spencer McInnis before he ended the half with a wild nine yard throw to his tight end Mark Lewis to tie the game at 21-21. His final touchdown pass was perhaps the best thanks to McInnis who took the screen straight to the end zone for 68 yards on the play.
McInnis, who replaced the injured Spencer Treadwell, was named player of the game with 221 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns. The junior halfback recorded 121 yards on the ground and 100 in the air in his first start of the season.
Senior tight end Orlando Davis also filled in a missing void of an injured teammate, Ryan Smith who’ll return next week, Davis tied McInnis in receptions with eight and 74 yards which ended up just ahead of Jared Murphy who hauled in seven passes for 78 yards.
With 10 tackles and a forced fumble, MLB Joe Donlan was the top player for the RedHawk’s defense who struggled to stop Central Michigan’s spread offense. Cornerback Heath Harding continued up on good play with eight tackles while fellow corner Marshall Taylor added his first pick of the season in the second quarter along with four tackles.
For the Chippewa’s, they heavily relied on the arm of Cooper Rush who threw a career high total of 470 yards on Miami. Along with the yardage, he distributed four touchdowns with just one interception – stats identical to our own Austin Gearing.
The quarterback got great production out of his receivers which was led by Corey Willis who tallied seven receptions for 143 yards and three of Rush’s four touchdowns. Joey Kroll added another 107 yards on his six grabs. Along with their superior passing effort, the Chippewa’s saw their halfback Saylor Lavallii rush for 103 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries.
“This Miami team seems to be headed in a much better direction,” CMU head coach John Bonamego said. “I applaud them for this victory, they’re doing a great job over there.”
Miami will attempt to push their conference record to 2-0 next week when they head out to (1-4) UMass in a contest scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 with regional broadcast coverage.

Lillard comes through in the clutch as the Blazers top the Lakers
By ESPN.com
Posted Nov. 22, 2015
MVP: Damian Lillard. Damian Lillard continued carrying the scoring load for the Portland Trail Blazers by pouring in a game high 21 points to go along with 10 assist and 4 rebounds. Lillard had a subpar shooting night (9-of-22), but he came up big with some crucial 4th quarter buckets for the Blazers.
LVP: Lou Williams. The reigning 6th man of the year put on a chuck-fest in his 16 minutes off the bench. Williams went a staggering 3-of-19 from the field including 1-of-12 from three to score just 9 points in the loss.
X-Factor: Mason Plumlee, Al-Farouq Aminu, and Gerald Henderson. With C.J. McCollum having a rough night, the Blazers free agent pickup picked up the slack. Henderson (14 Pts), Aminu ( 12 Pts and 12 Reb), and Plumlee ( 14 Pts and 10 Reb) combined for 40 points, 24 rebounds, and 8 assist.
Rookie Watch: D'Angelo Russell. The number two overall pick had a quiet but efficient outing against the Blazers. In 26 minutes, Russell finished with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assist on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor.
Injury Report: D'Angelo Russell. The number two overall pick had a quiet but efficient outing against the Blazers. In 26 minutes, Russell finished with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assist on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor.
