New Jeru visits the C-Set
The last time these two teams met, it was a sluggish, half-court oriented game in the Meadowlands, ending with a very low score. A boring game, to say the least.
This game couldn't have been any more of the opposite. Jason Kidd and Richard Jefferson were ready to put on a show from the tip. Brevin Knight started the game at point guard for the Bobcats, but Bickerstaff put Jason Hart in the game to up the tempo to the advantage of the Bobcats. Both teams just ran, holding a track meet in the gym.
Of course, when a game is like this, there will be very many runs and droughts. Charlotte hit a significant drought late in the 3rd quarter, and unfortunate time. Jason Kidd was already on his way to leading the Nets to a victory.
However, with the home crowd surging, Charlotte made another final run at the right time. Jason Kapono, who hit all sorts of different jumpshots off the bench, once again, brought his team back in the game. Jason Hart hit a jumpshot with less than a minute left to give Charlotte a 1 point lead. They couldn't hold the lead, however, and the unlikely hero, Ron Mercer drove down the lane and threw up a prayer to win the game, 97-96.

Charlotte takes a trip to H-Town
For the second time ths year, the Bobcats play the Houston Rockets, this time visiting. In the first quarter, Jason Hart controlled the tempo and Charlotte had a steady 3 point lead for most of the time.
Jason Hart eventually got sloppy, and was forced to sit on the bench. As a result of this, Houston started making multiple runs, and Charlotte would barely fight back.
Tracy McGrady found his stroke, and put away the Bobcats all by himself. The Bobcats suffered from a bi-polar-esque second half meltdown, and lost the game 97-81
