I find that quite funny, I don't play MVP as well (bad taste from the year before this one, and I heard the stuff I"m looking for was still the same). Anywho, I don't have a problem with the stats. If you're enjoying it then its all good.

Re: Follow my 2005 Oakland A's franchise!!

ok folks ive made my decision. i will be just playing out the rest of my season with out reporting on any of the games.

Well talk about a royal **** job, back on 9/12 I'd lose both Chavez and Scutaro to 2005 ending injurys. chavez would get a broken knee when hit by pitch and scutaro would get a broken arm while making a diving play.

I however finally did get Giambi back and that is a good thing. Helps my line up fill out. I just hope he can get back to form quickly.

it seems that either that ana is really hungry for a playoff spot or my pitchers are really wearing down in the final weeks of the season.

run support hasn't been what it was either. I'm starting to think that chavez was more to this team than just a great hitter he could have been their emotional leader and without him I could be in some serious trouble come play off time.

Ok well i have yet to updated the standing through the 15th but will soon i did post the last week ending stuff including player stats on the rosters are updated. team leaders arent but oh well. lol

Ok well just to let you know as of 9/15 here are the situations...

        nyy clinched al east
        chw clinched al cent
        atl magic # is 0.5
        hou magic # is 6.5
        sf magic # is 5

al wild card is this way

bal up on tb by 3 games so that makes balt magic # 7 to clinch al wc spot

stl has taken hold of the nl wild card spot 1 game over phi. with 8 games to play for stl

ok i think taht is about it...

        again thanks for reading all..

            - write up some previews for each series.

well My finacee just got called in to woark so that will bump up my schedule at least a day.

I should be able to get in 3-4 games in once she is gone... depending on how long she goes in for. I'll keep you all posted.. as each game is played..

Ok well game one of nine is complete. it was the Vernon Wells show as he would hit 2 hrs and drive in 5 of our 6 runs.

Harden would struggle early but hang on to get the win to drive his record to 25-2.

Jason Giambi in his second game back from being on the dl is showing signs of getting back to form quicky as he hit two doubles.

here are the latest div and wc situaltions

al east - yankees have clinched

al central - white sox have clinched

                    nl east - atl clinched

nl central - astros magic # is 5.5

nl west - giants magic # is 6

al wc - Orioles magic # is 6

nl wc - stl magic # is 6

well there you go your up to date situations.

ok game 2 of nine done.. this one wasnt as clear cut as game one with Seatttle was... this one came down to the final inning final out. fianl score was 4-3. Hudson got the win to take his record to 23-5. No real big offensive heros on this one...

al wc - Balt magic # is 8

nl central - astros magic # is 4.5

nl west - giants magic # is 5

as of 9/17 we have a tie in the nl wc...

stl/phi both two games up on sd

so both teams magic number is 4

ok that does it for game two...

                    9/18 @ Seattle.

just call it what it was.. an all out slaughter. by the third inning it was 10-0 and we weould go on to win by a score of 245-3. we hit six homers, Kielty had two of them. Giambi when 6-7, and Mulder stays undefeated at 27-0.

al wc - Balt magic # is 4

nl cent - hou magic # is 3.5

nl west - sf magic # is 5

nl wc - stl magic # is 4

                    9/19 @ Tex

ok ive done it.. all five starters with no less than 20 wins each on the season. Lackey was the last to need to do it and the offense sure helped him do it. Scoring 12 runs off the Rangers pitcers in a 12-4 route. Well It would look as if it didnt takke giambi long to come back from the dl dead. He clubbed 2 hrs in this game.

that makes me feel much better going into the playoffs knowing that he has his stroke back.

al wc - bal magic # is 2

nl central - hou magic # is 3.5

nl west - sf magic # is 3

nl wc - stl magic # is 4

                            9/23 vs Seattle

Well Hudson finished strong going 8 innings allowing no runs as we walked all over the M's grave 12-2.

ok with two games to go here is how things stand... i have to admit that my last posting was a little off for magic numbers i think.. but here we go...

with just 2 games to play...

al wc - balt leads tb by 1.0 game so they must win out as to not force a one game play off

nl wc - stl leads phi by one game.. same thng as above goes here.. but sd is only 2 games back so we could have some wierd ending here stay tuned.

nl central - hou same thing as the rest one game lead over stl wtih two to play.

so we have some interesting stuff startng to happen... it should be a great last two days of the 2005 season... stay tuned

Well another *** kicking of Seattle... 19-4. again it was the Vernon Wells show as he hit 2 homers and drove in 5 of our 19 runs. Mulder ends the season with a record of 28-0!!!!

It was pretty easy when you go ahead and score 8 runs in the first inning. lol

ok lets see how the races are shaping up with just one game to play....

al wc - baltimre still has a one game lead on Tb going into the final game

nl central - hou has clinched the div

nl wc - stl still clinging to a one game lead over phi going into the final game of the season.

so we could concevably have two one game play off both for the wc spots...
