                          Game 10:Mercer @ Lipscomb

Nashville(AP) - Will Emerson of the Mercer Bears grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with his 14 points, while Andrew Brown and Shaddean Aaron poured in 12 points as the Bears defeated the Lipscomb Bison 81-61 at Allen Arena.

Once again, another bad start got Lipscomb in a hole they could not get out of. Lipscomb only had 17 points at the half, including only 3 made baskets. The only bright spot of the day for the Bison (1-9, 0-5 ASC) is that Brian Fisk scored over half the teams points, 32 points, all of which came in the second half.

Said Fisk, "I feel like I should be the leader on this team, and I need to be consistant through the entire game, and not get into foul trouble. I know this team could win some games if we could make our shots and defend well early."

James Poindexter and Eddie Ard both added 8 points.

Up next, is a road game at Jacksonville.

                              Game 11:Lipscomb @ Jacksonville

Nashville(AP) - Eddie Ard scored a season high 25 points, 20 of which came in the first half and Brian Fisk added 23 points, as the Lipscomb Bisons win their first conference game of the year, defeating the Jacksonville Dolphins 73-61.

Jacksonville got out to a quick 11-2 lead before the Bison were able to make strides in cutting the lead. The Bison (2-9, 1-5 ASC) went into the break up 31-28 after a last second bucket by Eddie Ard. After half, the Dolphins (1-10, 0-6 ASC) scored the first 5 points to take a two point lead at 33-31 but that would be the last time they led as the Bison were able to jump out to as much as a 19 point lead.

David Lee of Jacksonville scored 19 points, while Aubrey Conerly scored 10 points and dished out 8 assist on the day.

The key of the day was Lipscombs free throw shooting, a season high 31 of 39 for 80%. Said Coach Sanderson, "I never thought I'd see the day when our team could play a complete game. We were hitting on all cylinders and it wasn't just one player doing the work this game. I am so proud of my guys, but we still have plenty of work to do."

Corey King of Lipscomb scored 13 coming off the bench.

Up next, game two of the current three game road trip, vs Stetson.
