Nashville(AP) - A 28-2 run by Florida Atlantic sparked a dominating win over Lipscomb 81-53.

Rodney Webb scored 16 points as the Owls rolled. James Poindexter was the only one on the Bisons (4-12, 3-8 ASC)to show any signs of life, scoring 28 points, and 13 of 14 from the line, making it 29 of 32 over the last two games.

Coach Sanderson said "We looked like ******s swimming in an ocean full of sharks. I have to call it like I see it and we looked absolutely helpless. That's all I have to say on the game."

Charlie Jenney added 8 points and 12 boards in the loss.

Nashville(AP) - Marcus Avant lead the team in scoring with 20 points as the Golden Knights rolled to a 78-60 win over Lipscomb.

Avant was all over the place, also leading the team in assists, blocks and rebounds. Throughout this game, the Bison made several runs to cut it as low as 7 in the second half but could not overcome poor shooting early in the game. Lipscomb did not make a shot in the first 6 minutes of the first half, although making 10 of 12 free throws.

Brian Fisk was the one bright spot again for the Bison, putting up 35 points and 2 rebounds, while shooting 18 of 23 from the free throw line.

Coach Sanderson said, "We just weren't ready to play and that was the end of that."

James Poindexter was the only other Bison with more than 3 points, scoring 15, although he shot 9 of 9 from the free throw line.

Nashville(AP) - Haminn Quaintance had a double double with 21 points and 12 rebounds as the Jacksonville Dolphins defeat the Lipscomb Bison 50-44 at Allen Arena.

Brian Fisk lead all scores with 22 points but it wasn't enough. The game was close throughout, tied at half 18-18. Easy missed shots for the Bison didn't make things any worse, and after an improved free throw shooting team, it looked like the team of old, shooting a pathetic 65%.

Coach Sanderson said, "This team hasn't been ready to play for a while now. We have chance after chance and can't get it done. I guaranteed this team would make in to the tourney and right now, we're even lucky if we sneak into the Atlantic Sun tourney."

Cameron Robinson finished with 14 rebounds as well as 5 points.

Poor shooting once again, and miss opporunities cost the Bison again, which drop them to 4-15, 3-11 in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

The key player for Lipscomb was Charlie Jenney, who dominated the glass with 15 boards to go along with his 6 points and 2 assist.

Brian Fisk was held in check to only 9 points and said, "This is one of the worst games I've played all year. I really feel like this is my fault that we didn't win this game.
