Re: North Carolina Tar Heels (ESPN CH 2K5)

Rashad McCants (32) and Raymond Felton (2) make up one of the best backcourts in the nation.

The Tar Heels are ranked #1 in the preseason polls. After going 8-8 in ACC play last season, and losing by 3 to Texas in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament, this team wants to prove that they are worthy of all the attention. This team might be the most offensively skilled group of players in America. They return all of there players, and bring in a McDonalds All American, and a top 100 recruit to help backup star PG Raymond Felton, something last year's team desperately needed.

PG : Raymond Felton - 6'2" Junior - The All American caliber player may just be the best PG in all of America. Led the ACC in assists last year, and is will be the man that makes this team run.

    Last Season's Stats - 11.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 7.1 apg, 1.9 spg

SG : Rashad McCants 6'4" Junior - Might be the best scorer in the country. An All American and Wooden Award Candidate, Rashad can do it all offensively. He can drive, shoot and post his defender up. In 2003-2004 he led the ACC in scoring.

    Last Season's Stats - 20.0 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 2.2 apg, 1.8 spg

SF : Jackie Manuel 6'5" Senior - Jackie is on the court for one reason, to play defense. That is no secret. He won't have many big offensive games, but he will lock down some of the best wings in the conference this year. Jackie's job is to harrass guys like JJ Redick, Justin Gray and Julius Hodge every night.

    Last Season's Stats - 6.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.8 apg

PF : Jawad Williams 6'9" Senior - A true SF, will play mostly PF this season. Jawad is a good offensive player, with a nice perimeter stroke. With "The Big Three" getting all the ink, Jawad often gets left out of the media, but he can light any team up on a given night.

Last Season' Stats - 12.6 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.4 apg

C : Sean May 6'9" Junior - The best hands in America. His teammates love playing with him. Sean came into this season in the best shape of his life, and he is going to need it in the UNC run-and-gun offense this year.

    Last Season's Stats - 15.2 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 1.4 apg, 1.4 spg, 1.3 bpg

    Key Bench Players

    PF : Marvin Williams - 6'9" Freshman
    SG : Melvin Scott - 6"1" Senior
SF : David Noel 6'6" Junior
PG :Quentin Thomas - 6'4" Freshman

Format should be familiar to you...What can I say, your a trendsetter.

I did start this Dynasty Page because of your Marquette dynasty, dominating with Diener.

Another update is coming tonight, UNC vs. BYU in the Tropical Invitational.
