Final 1 2 T #8 Duke « 56 57

It was pure entertainment in this matchup; all in the form of all offense, screw defense basketball. It was your typical "Mavericks VS Kings" game of NCAA hoops. Florida, though leading at the half, pulled a UCLA and deteriorated in the second.
J.J. Redick and Daniel Ewing absolutely torched the Gator's backcourt, sinking a 38 and 37 points, respectively. Redick assisted 19 others and sank 8 three pointers in the game.
Player of the Game: J.J. Redick
Junior forward, Shavlik Randolph, closed out the night 19 of his own on 8 of 11. He also had 11 rebounds.
"It was a tough loss to a great team," said fan turned team equipment manager, Charles Cruz, "Duke is a stellar basketball team and I commend them for their win."
"It was a devastating loss," added Coach Bro, "We looked to have the game made, but man... that J.J. Redick guy can shoot."
Corey Brewer led the team with 26 points to go along with his 5 boards and 4 assists. He is currently leading the team with 21 points per game. Anthony Roberson scored 17 on limited shooting attemps as well as dishing out 16 helpers. Walsh scored 23 with 6 boards and 4 dimes.
Freshman forward/center, Joakim Noah, started in his first game, and had a tough matchup against the 6'9", 250 pounder, Sheldon Williams. But he did have a solid performance on 7 of 9 shooting for 14 points. David Lee finished with 12 and 11.
Current Record: 5-2
Current Rank: #15
Current Streak: Loss 1
Next Up: Michigan Wolverines
