Florida lost their third straight in Tennesse against their conference foes, the Volunteers. Led by guard, Scooter McFadgon, the Volunteers were able to run away with the game in mid-second half.
McFadgon, the game's Player of the Game, scored an astonishing 37 points, rebounded 5, and assisted 5. Forward, Jemere Hendrix helped with 18 points, 11 boards, and 4 steals. C.J. Watson chipped in with 15 of his own, with 19 assists and 5 rebounds.
ESPN's Player of the Game: G, Scooter McFadgon
Stat Line: 37PTS, 5REB, 5AST
Their defense held the up-tempo offense of the Gators, and capitalized on offense rebounds.
Florida did not lead the entire game.
Guard, Anthony Roberson, finished with a Gator high, 21 points and 10 assists. "We couldn't sink our shots," said Roberson, "Open shots, layups, dunks... we missed them all and lost the game because of it."
Corey Brewer scored 19, Matt Walsh had 17, and David Lee finished with 12 with 15 rebounds.
The loss puts their losing streak at 3, and play the Ole Miss Rebels next on Wednesday.

In a total team effort, the Florida Gators manhandled the Ole Miss Rebels to the tune of a 83-53 victory. Not one player scored more than fifteen points for either team, however, 5 players cored 10 or more for the Gators, and one finished with 9.
Forward, David Lee, had a team high, 14 points on 6 of 9 shooting, with 6 boards earining the ESPN Player of the Game.

Guard, Anthony Roberson followed up with 13 points and 5 dimes. Joakim Noah, the Gator's freshman center, hit 5 of 6 shots for 11 points and 7 boards. Matt Walsh and Lee Humphrey each had 10 points. Corey Brewer finished the night with 9.
The starters sat on the bench with 3/4 of the second left to play and a 25 point lead, allowing their bench players to get some playing time.
"It was a great win," Coach Bro said, "A great way to end our losing streak."
Jeremy Parnell led the Rebels with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Todd Abernethy followed up with 13 points and 9 assists.
Florida ends their 3 game losing streak and will play Louisianna State next.
