I've been considering it for a bit, but LaFrentz is playing good, and Blount is contributing nicely as well.

Raef is giving me- 13.6 ppg, 8.5 rpg, and shooting .428 from the field
Blount is giving me- 10.4 ppg, 11.8 rpg, and shooting .627 from the field

Jefferson is a nice scoring option off the bench giving me.
    7.5 ppg, 4.9 rpg, and shooting .595

Big Al gets a lot of minutes, and stays in longer than Perkins does. A lot of the time when I bring in the 2nd unit I bring in Al and Perk. I rotate Al to the 5 when I sub LaFrentz in and give him an extra 2-3 minutes before I bring Mark back in

I might consider it if LaFrentz's production goes down. I do have LaFrentz on the trading block, with Gary Payton so that might be an option as well.

Celtics Reach a deal with the Hawks

The Celtics and the Hawks worked out a deal today, which sent Gary Payton, Marcus Banks, and Raef LaFrentz to ATL for former Celtics, Antoine Walker, Kenny Anderson, and long time veteran Kevin Willis. The Celtics hope to recapture the hey days of the Walker-Pierce combination, but this time not with the lazy *** bombs away style of offense, but the running style offense that Coach Doc Rivers has implemented.

                  Introducing the new Celtics:
                  PG #23- Kenny Anderson
                  F #32- Antoine Walker
                  C #1- Kevin Willis

Kenny Anderson and Antoine Walker will be starting at the point, and the 3 respectively and will be ready for the Celtics matchup vs. the Philadelphia 76ers.

Kevin Willis was placed on reserves, and Justin Reed was activated.

                          Game 10: Boston Celtics (6-3) at Philadelphia 76ers (4-6)

It was just like old times for the Boston Celtics tonight. The Celtics lead by Paul Pierce, and Antoine Walker came out to Philly and rolled, by a score of 105-92. Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker lead the Celtics with 22 points each. Pierce added 6 asssits and 4 rebounds, and 2/3 from behind the arc, while Walker added 7 rebounds, 4 assists and hit on 2 of 8 from behind the arc. Old buddy Kenny Anderson also chipped in big scoring 14 points, and dishing out 5 assists. Al Jefferson looked great in his first start as a Celtic pulling down 10 rebounds, and putting up 10 points.

The 76ers were lead by Allen Iveron's 30, and 4 other Sixers who were in double figures.

"It's great to be back home. I love Boston, the fans, the team, the coach, the city. I've come back to a great team and I hope to contribute with Paul like we used to, and get this team back to the playoffs". Commented Walker when asked how it feels to be a Celtic again.

"I'm glad he's back. Antoine's my best friend in the NBA, and we made a great combination. It's disappointing to see Gary Payton go, but Kenny Anderson can give us what Gary gave us, along with some veteran leadership for our youngsters like Tony and Delonte". commented Pierce.

The Celtics improve to 7-3 on the season and will face the Cavaliers friday night.

Nice trade but you forgot to acquire Tony Delk and Vitaly Potapenko
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"
