Re: San Diego Padres Fantasy Draft (MVP 05)

A day before the Padres had their first home game against the Pirates they traded Jeff Suppan (SP) and Juan Rincon (RP) to San Francisco for Gil Meche (SP) and Mike DeJean (RP).

San Diego was unhappy with Jeff Suppan and figured he wouldn't be a valuable asset to the team.

Nice move with Meche, put him in a good offense and watch him bloom. Good work on your fantasy draft, Pierre, Hafner, Lugo, Perez and Lowell are all fairly young and will continue to improve. Also, nice work getting Guerrero, Prior and Wagner on the same team.

                        Thanks.

Lugo is playing amazing on D, I love it.

I did trade Hafner though, he was just struggling at the plate and Hillenbrand allowed me to get El Duque.

Pirates update will be up in a few minutes.

I missed that trade, Hillenbrand is decent and El Duque will pay off. Actually it looks like he already has, a three hitter, not bad...
