With the recent injury of first baseman, Aubrey Huff, Devil Rays' skipper, Lou Piniella and the front office decided to put Huff on the 15 day disabled list. With this, they called up first baseman, Travis Lee back to the Majors.

                    Travis Lee

Lee started the season as the first baseman for Tampa Bay, but many subpar performances led him to the bench and eventually the minor leagues.

Huff suffered a fractured toe in today's game, and he will be out for atleast 18 days.

For now, Lee will remain a bench player with Chone Figgins moving to first base and Jorge Cantu and B.J. Upton splitting time at third base.
