2005 San Diego Padres (MVP 05)

Well after accidently deleting my dynasty I decided to re-start with the Padres, but with a twist. I started with a fantasy draft. Looking to build my team to spacious Petco Park, I drafted mostly pitching and defense.

Open vs. Jake Peavy and the Rockies.

    I'm diggin' this team.

Sheets and Oliver are fun to pitch with. Torri, Teixiera, and Rios are good too.

Yeah I Am kinda stoked the way it turned out. Not much power, but good young starting pitching and with Rios and Torri out there a couple of outfielders who can cover a lot of ground in Petco.

Pads stumble out of the gate. May have to move one of those young pitchers to acquire a bat.

Texiera is one of the best bargains out there. In owner mode I got him for Todd Helton. Unloaded a 15 million dollar salary for a 300K salary.

Padres make deal to try to fix lagging offense.

rumor on the street is that the Padres manager might be interested in selling the team, going back in time, and purchasing another franchise just before the 2005 season begins No link, but as information comes in I will pass it on
