                    I was thinking that to myself, I was hoping Edgar would hit a homerun so they would take out Randy, then Mariano could mess it up.

                      Injury News

                      Minnesota Twins Ace, Johan Santana, left the Twins opener yesterday with a sprained left hip flexor, he will be out for 25 days.

                      Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jon Lieber has tendonitis in his achilles and will miss 36 days.

                            Trade Report

                            GM John Woodlock has never liked David Wells and was looking for any offer to get him out of Boston. Trot Nixon then shot off his mouth saying David Wells shouldn't be traded, so GM Woodlock sent David Wells, Trot Nixon, and Bronson Arroyo to Toronto for Roy Halladay and Vernon Wells.

                            He then sent down Ramon Vasquez and brought up youngster Hanley Ramirez. He also called up Byung-Hyun Kim.

                            Tim Wakefield will take over as the 5th starter in the rotation.
