Re: What Can the Browns Do For You? - Cleveland Browns (M10)
Thanks man! My Redskins Chise fell apart because I had no interest in a team I don't follow.
My Browns are going to become a powerhouse. I just really hope it will happen now, in season #4. The AFC Championship was such a let down.
I plan on picking up this Franchise again soon.
Thanks for reading!Comment

Browns Open Season With Big Win Over Bengals
(Cincinnati, OH)
When the Browns and Bengals get together it usually means a lot of scoring, and this was no different. With a new QB behind center it was time for the Browns to show what they can do.
Vince Young looked a little rusty in the first half but he would eventually shake that off and look like the QB Jeff Fisher traded for in the off-season.
Calvin Johnson dominated the Bengals' DBs all day long and in the end, it was Cleveland's talent that won their first game of what is supposed to be The Season for the storied franchise.

Offense isn't going to be a problem this season. Young is going to have to hold tough and play a solid season if we have any hopes of Playoff success.
Thanks for following guys!!! I am really hoping to keep this going as long as possible...Comment

Johnson is doing a great job getting down the sidelines, but Young is really starting to concern me with his erratic passing accuracy.

Running Game Struggles As Browns Beat Hapless Chiefs
(Cleveland, OH)
It hasn't been the best year for James Davis. The Chiefs made sure that the Cleveland "Do-It-All" back did nothing in a game that gave Vince Young an opportunity to show off what he could do on the ground and through the air.
While Kansas City is one of the worst teams in the NFL, it is also apparent that by holding Davis to -7 yards on 12 carries that either the Browns O-Line needs a major overhaul or the Chiefs have the best D-Line in the NFL. We will assume for the sake of logic that it is the former.

Douglas' 68 Yard TD Saves Browns At Home
(Cleveland, OH)
While the Browns were trying to work on fixing their offensive rushing attack they must have forgotten about keeping tabs with their defense for the first half.
Denver jumped out with 21 first half points but the Browns stuck around with a Vince Young to Calvin Johnson TD with 9 seconds left in the second quarter.
As Cleveland tried to force the issue in the second half, it was a tight pass to Harry Douglas and a subsequent 2-point conversion to Douglas that gave the Browns the win.

Browns Re-Sign Joe Thomas, Looking To Make Moves Before Trade Deadline
Mike Holmgren has made a splash in his first few seasons with the Browns. The acquisitions of Vince Young and Calvin Johnson were a good sign of what he and Jeff Fisher wanted to get done in 2012.
However, the lack of a running game so far this season has left many people wondering what the plan might be for the O-Line.
Joe Thomas, the Browns best lineman will be in Cleveland for at least 6 more seasons as the Browns extended his deal that was scheduled to end after the 2012 season.
"I love playing here and it was my desire to get something done before any sort of Free Agency drama targeted us in the off-season." - said Thomas on Twitter.
His deal is reportedly 6 years, 67.41 million with a 26.4 million in bonuses.
*It is yet to be decided what will happen with Eric Steinbach, the Browns LG has been a steadfast starter, but he has also shown signs of displeasure with the coaching staff. With an OVR rating of 93, he could be moved easily.
