A Whole Lot Of Nothing... Army Wins Defensive Struggle
After scoring/allowing 70+ points last week, Army and Air Force showed that it can go the other way, too. The play of the day was a safety recorded late in the first quarter.

Black Knights Beat Regular Knights - Army Defeats UCF
Liggins looked like the superstar of last year as he broke off this game winning TD run from 51 yards out.

2010 Army Season Recap
- Army finished the regular season with a record of 11-1.
- Lonnie Liggins didn't live up to the hype from his Sophomore season, rushing for only 688 yards.
- Army junior MLB, Nate Combs led the nation with 72 Solo Tackles and won All-American Honors along with senior CB, Antuan Aaron
- QB Michael Hudson, WR Kevin Lawson and OLB Bobby Lyons were named to the Freshman All-American team
FIVE GAMES DECIDED IN OT
The 2011 Black Knights played it close in every single game this season. Including an amazing 73-71 loss to Rutgers in week 9.
However, nothing could compare to when from week 2 through week 5 they won 4 straight games in Overtime.
REDEMPTION
Army managed to beat Notre Dame on a last second FG. It was a nice end to a game that Army desperately wanted after a disappointing loss to the Irish in 2010.
SHOCK AND AWE
Deon Estes became the second player in as many years to break his back as a Black Knight. His status for 2011 remains unclear, but his recovery has been impressive so far.
