Re: From West Point - NCAA 11 (360)
Win/Win or Lose/Lose?
Coach Marktg30 is starting to turn this off-season into some sort of Brett Favre saga. With many people around West Point constantly asking him where he will be next season it is still up in the air.
"I have it down to two teams. At this point I am simply talking it over with those closest to me and trying to figure out what the best decision is at this time. I still have one year left on my contract, but I am also intrigued by one of the offers I got over the last few days."
It looks like he still needs to hear from those whose opinion matters most - the fans.Comment

Re: From West Point - NCAA 11 (360)
This has been one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make. After talking it over with my family, friends and fans I have come to a decision about where I will be coaching in 2012.
DUTY. HONOR. COUNTRY.
Coach Marktg30 Signs 6 Year Extension With Army
"I said I would bring this team back to a respectable level of football. I promised each and every one of my players that we would beat those Fly Boys in Colorado Springs and that OTHER TEAM in Annapolis every single year. We will continue to be a beacon of decency in college football and I can promise you this -
We will win it all next season!"Last edited by marktg30; 08-11-2010, 05:08 PM.Comment

Army Players Leaving - (Zero Leaving Early)
QB - Max Jenkins, SR -
+ Max came in after Deon Estes broke his back and while he also got injured in that game, he came back three weeks later and led us to the Fiesta Bowl. A true leader in every sense of the word, as a senior he took his place in the back-up role and stepped up when we needed him the most.
Stats - 65/126, 1268 Yards - 12 TDs and 3 INTs
------------------------------------------------------------------------
FB - Cedarius Williams, SR -
+ A solid fullback that never touched the ball once - but he blocked for Lonnie Liggins during his breakout Sophomore season
------------------------------------------------------------------------
WR - Austin Barr, SR -
+ A clutch performer in every sense of the word, this guy came down with catch after catch and was a primary reason we beat Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl.
Career Stats - 46 Rec, 1200 Yards, 15 TDs
------------------------------------------------------------------------
WR - Davyd Brooks, SR -
+ The best receiver in Army history - Set school records for yards in a game (225), TDs in a season (12) and TDs in a career (18). He will be missed on and off the field. A true champion.
Career Stats - 49 Rec, 1465 Yards, 18 TDs
