CAPs/Coaches for Climbing the Ranks and all the other stuff

Like others, I'll open up for some CAPs. The one thing is, I have started the season and since I have 12 teams to control, it'll be a little bit to get your recruit in. So, if you would like and don't care too much about height and weight, I can alter a recruit in this season (once he is signed), or just alter a freshman on whatever team you would like (being pretty easy as I'm using a slightly altered default set of rosters).

The other new twist on this too is I can add a coach into this dynasty. Just shoot me a name and school (also if you want to be a HC or a coordinator) and I'll work that into my dynasty. An example would be if someone wanted to be the HC at Michigan, I'd have a story where the current coach is fired.

So basic form for each is:

    New recruit:

    Name:
    Position:
    Height:
    Weight:
    Hometown:
    Accessories:
    Bio:

Player change is the same, just add team.

    For a coach:

    Name:
    Coaching Position:
    School:
    Bio: if you prefer
    Offense/Defensive Scheme:

If you choose to be a coach, you can alter your offense and defense to your liking and I will adjust it accordingly. That being said, I will also tailor the recruiting to your liking as well.

To create a "carousel" in the coaching, contracts are going to be from 3-5 years. When the contract is up or if there has been a good run of success, I'll notify you of a potential job offer or contract extension.

Also, you can post questions for coaches/players here for when I do a coach/player spotlight segment in previews. I'll just say here who I'm going to profile and you can fire away.

          Coaching job

          Name: Dustin Tweedy
Coaching Position: Offensive Coordinator (hopefully head coach later)
          School: Nevada
Offense/Defensive Scheme: Balanced Offense / 3-4 Defense (when i become Head Coach)
          Bio:

Dustin Tweedy was born on November 15, 1985 in Antioch, CA. By the time he was 5 he was a NFL fan of the Oakland Raiders and his dream was to play for the Raiders. When he signed up to play for his middle school he became a instant star playing WR and RB. He broke the school's record for Rec Yards and Rec TDs in the first season. Once he got too High School he was already the starter for WR, he brought the high school all the way to the playoffs 2 years straight but lost in the semifinals. In his Junior year in the semifinals, in the 4th quarter, Dustin jumped up for the ball in the endzone and the safety on the other team hit him right below the knee in midair and Dustin landed wrong breaking his wrist and broke two ribs. Breaking the ribs was nothing but the wrist made Dustin quit the team because it was to severe during that time. After the season was over the coaches decided to put Dustin as assistant WR/RB coach. The start of the new season Dustin personally made the passing game more better than it was making the players work harder on offense. The team went to the state championship and they won it that season.

After that he enrolled at Nevada and earned his degree in Computer Information Technology Networking Administrator. After that he applied for a job for Offensive Coordinator and after he got the job he immeditally began working on the offensive playbook. Now the time is here to see if Nevada's offense will improve and maybe become a major force in the WAC. Then maybe later in Dustin's life, he will be a coach for the Oakland Raiders.

Altair, I was actually taking about which schools you might have a preference for or against. I know I have the Michigan spot open right now but I might have others opening up as the season unfolds. Most likely 5-10 schools will open up at the end.

Anyone else is welcome to join as a CAP or coach. I'll build in a storyline for your coach to move into the dynasty. For a CAP, the 2011 season will start with the recruits or I can alter a freshman on a team if you don't really care about height/weight.

Not a problem. I gathered you wanted an offensive-type position if you weren't an HC right off the bat by your bio. But yeah, I'll get that in there.

                        Name: Jay Randolph
                        Coaching Position: HC
                        School: LSU
Bio: Was a walk-on QB at LSU in the late 90's, and a great student of the game. Became a Graduate Assistant with the Tigers after his Senior season, then accepted a position as the QB coach at D-II Abeline Christian. After a year, he was promoted to Offensive Coordinator, where his team set school records for rushing yards, touchdowns, and points per game. Was later hired as the OC at Appalachian St, where his teams won 3 straight FCS titles. He was hired before 2009 as the OC at Arkansas under Bobby Petrino.

                        Offense/Defensive Scheme: Arkansas/4-3

                          Name: Matt Clark
                          Coaching Position: HC
School: Pitt is preference, but will take any position that is available.
Bio: Clark played his college football at Pitt and when he graduated, he was not selected in the Draft. This was ok, as he was able to get a job at a local school as a Math Teacher. He also ended up being the high school's head coach of their football team.

Clark led the team to 2 section championships, 1 W.P.I.A.L championship and 1 State Runner Up during his 10 years there. It was around this time that Duquesne University had a position open up for the Offensive Coordinator. He was selected to be their OC and he gladly took it.

After 5 years with the team, he knew he wanted to be a Head Coach and has been keeping his resume handy, as he has helped Duquesne to 3 National Championship games, winning 1 of them.

Offense Scheme: Run 55%/Pass 45%, mostly balanced O.
Defensive Scheme: 3-4 defense, much like what his hometown Steelers run.
