Madden 11 Simulation (2010 and Beyond)

Ok, so here is the idea I simulate all games and all transactions and make stories and reports for transactions, injuries, and etc. covering all aspects offered in Madden. I will try to post as much as I can but please be patient because this does take some time. I'm not so focused on presentation and picture but the actual facts and the football aspect of it. I won't report on any games until we get to the regular season and then I will be doing special reports on Monday and Sunday night football games. I hope you enjoy.

      ESPN Breaking News

      ESPN.com

The Miami Dolphins have signed ROLB Keith Bullock to a 1-year deal worth $5.00M. Keith Bullocks is expected to be an immediate starter for the Dolphins. This isn't the only offseason acquisition the Dolphins picked up to reestablish their struggling defense. Since the departure of their veteran linebacker corps Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor, are both sure to be future Hall of Famers. The Dolphins are finally making steps in the right direction with the signing of Karlos Dansby former Cardinals linebacker in the offseason, and the new signing of Keith Bullock. Bullocks is a 10-year veteran who played for the Titans all 10 years totally 1071 tackles, 18.0 sacks, 19 interceptions, 14 forced fumbles, 11 fumble recoveries, and 3 defensive touchdowns. That's not it though the Dolphins already have another good linebacker in Channing Crowder who has done a good job given the circumstances of replacing Miami legend Zach Thomas.

Expect the Dolphins defense a forced to be reckoned with this 2010 season with a strong linebacker core, and plenty of young talent the Dolphins have picked up the last couple seasons in the NFL Draft.

More Free Agent Pick Ups Before Preseason Action

Another well known face is coming out to Washington to play for the Redskins this season. In addition to the big trade to pick up NFC rival, Philadelphia Eagle's quarterback Donovan McNabb. Earlier today the Redskins made it final signing 5 year FS stand out O.J. Atogwe to a 1 year deal. Their is no doubt that he can play it was the fact of getting signed for the right amount of money and it looks as if O.J. got what he wanted a deal worth $9.13M. O.J. should not be only the starting safety in a horrible defensive secondary but possibly the best player on the Redskins defense. People in Washington are already hoping he will be as good as the great Sean Taylor.

"We will just have to wait and see how he measures up here in Washington. I don't know about him being the next Sean Taylor or Troy Polamalu or whatever but the kid can play... I think I speak for not just myself but all the Washington fans when I say we try not to get our hopes up here," Santana Moss told ESPN journalist when asked about Sean Taylor. "When you bring his name up it is a pretty touchy subject... you know and I talked to O.J. on the phone and he isn't trying to be the next Sean Taylor of this team he wants to be himself and he just wants to play some ball."

And why not it has worked for Otagwe so far with just 5 years with the St. Louis Rams he has recorded 317 total tackles, 3.0 sacks, 19.0 interceptions, 19 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries, and 1 defensive touchdown.

          "Fresh Start In Philly"
          NFL.com

One of the biggest questions circling the NFL is who is going to replace McNabb and more important to the fans who is most likely to get the Eagles to the Super Bowl. One of the biggest controversies is if Michael Vick will get his first start in three years since his jail time in 2007. If Vick wants to start he will have to improve his throwing and decision making in a complicated Andy Reid west coast style offense. His competition will be former second string quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles Kevin Kolb who has had little playing time at all but has showed improvement in camp according to Reid. It will ultimately come down to who has improved the most since their debut in the league, and also who plays the better game this preseason.

Along with Philadelphia's quarterback situation Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick will go at it in Buffalo as Bill's fans hope to find their next franchise quarterback in the two. Chad Henne will try to remain the starter in Miami over veteran quarterback Chad Pennington who lost his starting spot to Henne last season due to injury and poor play. The Browns will try to find their starting quarterback with their new quarterback additions Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace. Also, in Carolina Matt Moore will compete to regain his starting spot after turning in a better than expected year in Carolina last season after filling in for Jake Delhomme. He will have some tough competition with 3rd round pick from Notre Dame, rookie quarterback Jimmy Clausen.
