I haven't done it yet lol....if I can't get any production out of him in the Troy game then I can see a bad season coming with tougher teams on the way.

        In the Safe Zone!
        Wilson's Performance Saves His Job

Fayetteville, AR: Tyler Wilson knew his job was on the line if he didn't perform well tonight. He had to start hot from the beginning of the game and stay on fire until the end. Coach Petrino informed Wilson before the game that if Wilson did not perform well at the beginning of the game, Brandon Allen would take over the rest of the game. Wilson never allowed Petrino the chance to see Allen. Wilson came out firing and kept firing until he ran out of ammo. He threw for 250 yards and rounded up 3 touchdowns. It is safe to say that Wilson will be the starter. Coach Petrino had this to say after the game.

I told Tyler that if he was to keep his job, he would have to play this game like it was the National Championship, he did just that. I'm proud of him and the rest of my squad. We have a big test coming up and we need to be ready for it. We was disappointed last year, but this year I think we are going to beat Alabama

Arkansas improves to 3-0 and will head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama next week to face the #1 ranked Crimson Tide. Arkansas fell short of glory last year after losing 24-20 in Fayetteville. Can the Razorbacks go into enemy territory and win?

                  Sweet Revenge!
Knile Davis and Razorbacks upset the Tide!

Tuscaloosa, AL: This time last year it was the Razorbacks that dropped their heads because the Crimson Tide defeated them. This year was a completely different story. Knile Davis had the best game of his life by scoring 4 rushing touchdowns. Tyler Wilson had a wonderful game, but wasn't able to score a passing touchdown. The Razorbacks upset the Crimson Tide all because of a roughing the passer penalty called with just one second left before overtime.

The Crimson Tide was trying to hold out until overtime, but it didn't help. Tyler Wilson would complete a pass across midfield and then get blasted by a Alabama defender. That earned them some extra yardage, putting Hocker in field goal range to end the game. With just 1 more second on the clock, Hocker blasts a 48 yard field goal to win the game. Post game interview with Coach Petrino!

I told Tyler not to force anything, if there wasn't a touchdown there don't bother. He got the yards, but no touchdowns and that is okay. We covered that on our rushing game. I'm very happy and proud of this squad and what we have done so far this season. I'm confident that this will continue until the post season. As for Hocker, he is the player of the game. I asked him to blast a 50 yard field goal into the wind, and he got the job done.

Next week the Razorbacks will be heading to Cowboys Stadium to take on the Aggies of Texas A&M. With early success, can the Razorbacks carry the burden of a possible National Championship on their backs?

The TAMU matchup looks to be a huge Top 10 in Razorback Stadium

                          The Great Escape!
Arkansas Hangs On to Knock Off Texas A&M

Arlington, TX: Its the third year of this revived rivalry of the Southwest Classic between the Aggies of Texas A&M and the Razorbacks of Arkansas. Arkansas has went home victorious the last two years, but will the third game be the charm for the Aggies? The answer would be no as the Razorbacks defeat Texas A&M 28-27.

Very sloppy offensive production by both teams, and very poor play by the star QB Tyler Wilson. Coach Petrino gave Tyler Wilson a talk at the end of the 3rd quarter which sparked the young man into a frenzy, including a touchdown pass on the game winning drive. Here's Bobby Petrino during the post game news conference.

I thought we didn't perform the way we should of tonight. Texas A&M is a great team, and they showed that tonight. It could of gone either way tonight, and I'm just thankful it leaned our way.

Next week, Arkansas will take on the Auburn Tigers without Cam Newton. Tyler Wilson is all familiar with this team, last year he shined in the Auburn game when he had to replace an injured Ryan Mallett, can he do what he did last year?
