The Panthers has doubled their win total from last season, upsetting the 8 point favorites Chicago Bears on road, in a very close game, that the Bears lead for three quarters, but in the 4th, the defense come on their own, and lead to team to the win.
Another great game from Stewart, and a solid one from Newton. New acquisiton Kenny Britt(we will talk about this later) received 5 passes for 80 yards.
The Bears led early as Israel Idoninje returned a Newton fumble 35 yards for the TD. Carolina later tied with a 1yd run from Stewart.
In the 2nd, the Bears recovered the lead with a Forte 3yd run. Kasay nailed 2 FGs as the half ended, the score was 14-13 Bears.
The Bears opened 21-13 with a 1yd pass from Cutler to Earl Bennet. Stewart 5yd run put it at 21-19, with him running for 2pt conversion.
In the 4th, Kasay nailed a 35yd field goal, and the game remained at 24-21 almost every quarter, when lefting 26 seconds, Rubin sacked Cutler in the endzone, sealing the win for the Panthers.
