Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
White-Out Win!
Blizzard conditions is how New England likes to play
PATRIOTS 44 - Bills 17
Foxboro, MA - You would think it never snows in Buffalo by the way the Bills defense played today. They couldn't stop a snail out there. Mallett gauging them for yards through the air and Ridley attacking on the ground. What else could have gone wrong? Oh ya, allowing 2 defensive TDs by the Bills.
One of them was on a fumble and the other on an interception, but both hurt the Bills badly. The defense is showing why they are #1 ranked. Sure Fitzy threw over 300 yards, but most of that was in garbage time. The big play was stopping Fred Jackson from getting anything going.
There are two games left and they are against the NFC East. The Patriots have already locked up another AFC East title and is the first team to secure a playoff spot with home field advantage throughout the whole playoffs. One last home game against the Giants before heading to Washington D.C to play the Washington Redskins.
Look for Mallett's time to be limited next week and for Chad Sapozink to get some playing time before the playoffs begin. The Patriots would like to keep Ryan as healthy as possible going into the playoffs. With Chandler Jones out for the remainder of the regular season AND post-season, this could be a tough, but exciting finish to the year. Cya next week!
Down and Out - The Patriots will have less room for error now that Chandler Jones will be out for several weeks.@SkipBaylessEA - Bad situation for Chandler Jones. He's a main piece for Patriots, and he knows they need him out there.
March to Victory - Ryan Mallett solved the Bills defense with an almost-perfect passer rating in win.@MattMillerEA - QB rating: the most important stat that no one without a PhD in mathematics could ever understand.
Win Secured - The Patriots answered the call at home and came away with a victory over the Bills this week.@MattMillerEA - Patriots will be please to have that home win. #Patriots #Bills

2013 - Week #15
The Next Janikowski - After winning the kicker of the year award, some are calling UTEP K Tyler Bandera the next Sebastian Janikowski.
Success On the Ground - Marshawn Lynch could not be take down this week as he led the Seahawks to a win over the Rams.
On Point - Aaron Rodgers was near-perfect with a 149.3 passer rating against the Raiders this week.
Anything but a Draft Bust - Reggie Wayne has made a career out of being a reliable threat. He'smoved past Hines Ward into 9th place on the all-time receptions list.
See Who's Tweetin'
@ToddMcShayEA - Here's a non-shocker: Tyler Bandera won the Lou Groza award as the nation's best kicker.@mortreportEA - This week ends with Aaron Rodgers atop the #NFC. #PoW@SCollinsEA - Rashard Mendenhall was a whiz kid in Week 15. #AFCPoW@RoFloEA - Using the term 'man possessed' sums up the play of Travis LaBoy this week. #NFCPoW@SkipBaylessEA - If Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie wants ME to take notice, then fine he has my attention. #AFCPoW@WingozEA - The Bears have had a ridiculous year on the ground, racking up 2,000 yards of rushing offense.@SkipBaylessEA - Nothing better than seeing a rushing attack that just dominates the game. Passing isn't the only option!@MarkSchlerethEA - It's not a coincidence the Bears have done this on the ground. Great Blocking, Great Talent!@RossTuckerEA - Been fun watching a perfectly balanced running system in Chicago this year.@AdamSchefterEA - Packers QB Aaron Rodgers caught fire and pitched near-perfect passer rating vs. Raiders.@RossTuckerEA - 1,000-yd rushers aren't what they used to be, but it's not like you don't want Ahmad Bradshaw on your team.@SkipBaylessEA - Whenever I see Marshawn Lynch run, always think: he's great, but he could be BETTER. Today, he was better.@RossTuckerEA - I don't think Sidney Rice is ever satisfied so he won't give a second thought to 1,000 yards.@RoFloEA - Spoke with Marshawn Lynch, and he feels 1,000 yards is the bare minimum he should get each year.@RoFloEA - Clearly Anquan Boldin is having a very good season.@MarkSchlerethEA - The passing system in place in New Orleans has really led to great results this year.@SkipBaylessEA - NFL needs to WAKE UP and try to slow down this Saints passing attack.@WingozEA - The Saints have more than 4,500 passing yards on the year. #effective@MarkSchlerethEA - Never gets old just watching Reggie Wayne pull in pass after pass. #recordwatch@RoFloEA - Fantasy owners, be sure to say thanks to Michael Vick -- or curse his name if you had to go H2H against him.@SkipBaylessEA - Running backs may be less important now, but you can't tell me LeSean McCoy getting 1,000 yards is a bad thing.
Coaching Jobs@SkipBaylessEA - Mike Munchak needs to end this year on a high note. Fans will not be very forgiving of this type of year.@MarkSchlerethEA - Coaches with bad records just face more and more media pressure as the weeks progress. #Panthers #hotseat@WingozEA - Cardinals now got 30 turnovers this year. Guess they got the memo about turnovers being important.@mortreportEA - Dennis Allen knows fans expected better, fair or not. He'll need to look for a positive way to end things.@MikeHillEA - The scrutiny on you in New York is endless so I'm sure Rex Ryan has had a tough year dealing with it.@MattMillerEA - Fans expected M. Charron to recognize the problems and fix them in-season, he hasn't #hotseat #Bengals@RossTuckerEA - Sub-.500 years are going to get you in trouble in the NFL, regardless of the year. #hotseat #Ravens

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
Jones Out -Defensive Re-alignment
QB Matt Moore release; MLB Dane Fletcher signed
Foxboro, MA - Upon realizing that star Defensive End, Chandler Jones, will be out for the rest of the season...Coach Gerard went to work. First order of business was to fill the hole. Rob Ninkovich has switched DE sides and solid rookie OLB Justice Jones will be taking Ninkovich's old spot. Shawne Merriman and Jermaine Cunningham will play as DE backups.
This Caine filling in up front, the Patriots needed to fill in the 3-4 MLB spot that Justice was occupying. This is were Dane Fletcher comes in. He is a veteran Patriot that was not picked up this year. He will now be playing that MLB spot next to Brandon Spikes.
The secondary will remain the same but will look for some help over the middle with cold Fletcher in the lineup. Fletcher hasn't played a down since last year, but has looked to be in pretty good shape. Let's see how the defense can prepare for this game against the New York Giants...Comment

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
Giant Disappointment!
Patriots can't seem to find a way to win against New York
PATRIOTS 23 - Giants 27
Foxboro, MA - Queue up the "Imperial March" (Darth Vader's theme song for you non-geeks out there). Mallett, Mallett, Mallett...what's going to happen come playoff time. We already know he won't have his security blanket in Rob Gronkowski for that AFC Division Title Game. Luckily Sapozink is going in next week, or I just don't know how I could make it through another Mallett game.
Not only did Ryan give up an interception, but it went the distance. 100 yard INT return! Oh and it gets better....while being down 20-16, he fumbles. Not on the ground like a normal person so he teammates can get the ball, but fumbles straight up into Umenyoira's hands and that goes for a TD. He leaves the Patriots in a hole 27-16 after being ahead the hole game.
The run game was stopped, so New England had to rely on Mallett's arm. Sure, he did bring them down the field for another touchdown with 30 seconds left, but they shouldn't have been in this position in the first place. That touchdown to Welker in the corner of the endzone should have been the game winning touchdown. I'm just disgusted. Thankfully the Patriots are well ahead of the rest of the AFC and is secure in their #1 seed.
Along with the loss of the game, and the loss of Gronkowski....Kenneth Milliner went out early and Brandon Lloyd left with a concussion in the 4th. The team is falling apart, so New England better be playing their back-ups next week in D.C. The Redskins should be a scrimmage game, but let's see what Sapozink can show us in this next battle. Onwards to next week my peoples!
Relying on the Bench - The Patriots want to get one more look at Rob Gronkowski, but team officials believe he will only be out for a couple weeks.@RossTuckerEA - In the NFL, I do believe you can survive without a player like Rob Gronkowski for a small window of time.
Falling At Home - The Patriots did not protect their house this week against the Giants.@AdamSchefterEA - Patriots couldn't stop a nosebleed today, and no way they were stopping the Giants from winning.@MarkSchlerethEA - It's not a coincidence the Patriots have done this on the ground. Great Blocking, Great Talent!@WingozEA - The Patriots have had a ridiculous year on the ground, racking up 2,000 yards of rushing offense.@RossTuckerEA - I don't think Hakeem Nicks is ever satisfied so he won't give a second thought to 1,000 yards.@RossTuckerEA - Been fun watching a perfectly balanced running system in New England this year.@SkipBaylessEA - Nothing better than seeing a rushing attack that dominates the game.
