2014 - Week #15
Speeding Towards the Record Books - Calvin Johnson Jr.'s unbelievable performance has put him in the chase for the NFL record for most receiving yards in a season.
Fred Jackson Runs it In - Fred Jackson's 2 TD runs were enough to give the Bills a 44-10 win over the Jets.
On Target - Aaron Rodgers was a star in the Packers' 55-36 win over the 49ers.
Rewriting the Record Books - Write Tom Brady's name in pencil because he's going to keep climbing the all-time passing yards list. In other words, he won't be 4th all time for long.
Moving to the Front of the Line - Adrian Peterson truly is a special talent that has gotten better with age. He picked up his 101st rushing TD this week and now owns 7th place on the all-time TD list.
The Long way Home - The Dolphins fell to the Cardinals 25-13.

Never let his wheels stop turning.@MikeHillEA - Tom Brady will not end as 4th on the all-time passing yards list, he'll keep rising.
@SkipBaylessEA - Ken Whisenhunt needs to end this year on a high note. Fans will not be very forgiving of this type of year.@SkipBaylessEA - Does anybody really think Brian Billick shouldn't be criticized for the year he's had to this point?@MarkSchlerethEA - Coaches with bad records just face more and more media pressure as the weeks progress. #Cardinals #hotseat@MikeHillEA - This is a football-crazed country, so you can't expect the masses to be patient. #hotseat #Seahawks@MattMillerEA - The best thing Jason Garrett can do is finish strong and get some heat off his back. #hotseat #Cowboys@MattMillerEA - Fans expected Mike Shanahan to recognize the problems and fix them in-season, he hasn't. #hotseat #Bills@RossTuckerEA - Don't see the playoffs in P. Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
Another win for Pats
Ridley with 100 on the Ground in Win!
PATRIOTS 24 - Jets 21
Foxboro, MA - Another win against a team with a losing record. Not much to say in this one. Two TDs thrown by Angle and 100 yards on the ground by Ridley.
Ridley passes 1,000 yards with that game and Kyle Angle is short of 4,000 yards. We go into the final week of the season with everything just about wrapped up. We may not see Angle the whole game and some of the starters may come out of the game at the half.
We'll see you next week!
Fighting the Clock - The home fans got quite a show this week as their Patriots were able to stave off Jets.@SkipBaylessEA - So much animosity out on that field in New England this week. Great for football.
Sack Party - The New England Patriots' defense turned 4 sacks into a win against the New York Jets.@RossTuckerEA - Looks like the Jets' offensive line had memory loss, and couldn't remember their blocking assignments.
Injured Again! - Team doctors announced that B.J Welsh will not be able to play for at least two weeks while he nurses his broken ribs.@SkipBaylessEA - Spoke with B.J Welsh, and he thought the injury was much worse when it initially happened..

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
2014 - Week #16
Passing His Way Into History - Matthew Stafford has a chance at history this week -- if he can put up 496 yards for the Lions.
In the Hunt for History - Greg Jennings' unbelievable performance has put him in the chase for the NFL record for most receiving yards in a season.
Too Good to Contain - Larry Fitzgerald doesn't need to do much more work to eclipse the NFL single-season receiving yards record.
Respect for Chris Johnson - Chris Johnson ran for 3 TDs during the Titans 30-24 win over the Lions.
No Snaps Off - There's nothing that has ever been able to slow down Steven Jackson, and that's why he's now 9th on the all-time rushing list.
First Class - Maurice Jones-Drew truly is a special talent that has gotten better with age. He picked up his 101st rushing TD this week and now owns 8th place on the all-time TD list.
Always Ready - Steve Smith continues to chase after many of the greats that came before him on the all-time receiving yards list. He has just surpassed Marvin Harrison.
Road Trip - The Steelers left today's 28-21 game with a loss to the Chiefs.

Possessions are just too important. #Chargers@mortreportEA - The Chiefs' #29th ranked offense pulls off the win vs. the Steelers.@MattMillerEA - You see the tenacity Steven Jackson runs with and it really is inspiring. He's 9th on rushing list now.@RossTuckerEA - Larry Fitzgerald has breakaway everything. It's how he's chasing down history. #recordwatch@MikeHillEA - The memo never got around to Maurice Jones-Drew that teams like to pass it down on the goal line now. #recordwatch@RossTuckerEA - You can see the Giants have been coached up to try and take some risks to force some turnovers.@MattMillerEA - No answers for Chris Johnson's speed and power in big Titans win.@MikeHillEA - Dink, dunk, and go deep...give Matthew Stafford an opening, he'll find a way to move the chains. #recordwatch@WingozEA - Greg Jennings is a yards machine...record-breaking if he keeps this up.@MarkSchlerethEA - There's no good way to cover Steve Smith. Runs great routes and has great moves after the fact. #recordwatch
@MikeHillEA - Pete Carroll is not one to make excuses, so he won't try to defend how the Seahawks have played. #hotseat@MarkSchlerethEA - I've got no desire to be a head coach, and there's a big reason why. #hotseat #Raiders@RossTuckerEA - It's tough to look at things in a vacuum right now, but John Fox is a guy who should stick around #hotseat@mortreportEA - At this point, Texans have to look at Gary Kubiak's body of work and decide some things. #hotseat@MarkSchlerethEA - So much pressure on guys like Brian Billick to perform each season, so he's got to be under a lot of stress.@SkipBaylessEA - If Ken Whisenhunt doesn't return next year, the reason will be obvious: lack of results in 2014. #hotseat@MattMillerEA - With 5 wins on the year, N. Gove hopes everybody just forgives and forgets. #hotseat #Browns@MattMillerEA - With only 6 wins at this point, Jason Garrett should have a lot on his mind -- much of it not positive.

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
Ohhhhh Snap-Ozink
Sapozink steps in for Final Win
PATRIOTS 48 - Steelers 30
Foxboro, MA - Both Stevan Ridley and Kyle Angle only played one half of football today. Then handed the reigns to Shane Vereen and Chad Sapozink. It seemed like the backups were even better!
Only downside to the day was the injury to Shawne Merriman. Having a "bye" during the wildcard playoff round will help them as it allows B.J Welsh to come back and leaves Brandon Lloyd out for the Divisional game and Merriman out for Divisional and Conference. If Patriots make the Super Bowl, you'll see Lights Out arrive.
Not too much to say about this game. Didn't mean much as New England already had home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. After the wrap-up we'll see who made the playoffs and who the Patriots could possibly play come Round 2. See ya!
Scoring Threat - The Steelers fell victim to the Patriots' rushing attack in a 48-30 loss.@mortreportEA - #Patriots staff are thrilled with Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen after they ran over the Steelers this week..
Shawne Merriman Down in Week 17 - Injuries will play havoc on an NFL roster, and this week the Patriots were dealt a blow when Shawne Merriman went down with broken ribs.@AdamSchefterEA - Shawne Merriman isn't going to be available to the Patriots the next couple weeks.
Road Trip - The Steelers lost on the road 48-30 to the Patriots this week.@SkipBaylessEA - Patriots just seem to look better at home.

2014 - Week #17
Ring the Bell - The Super Bowl is in sight, the playoffs are upon us, and the Falcons and Packers will be looking for a victory in an NFC Wild Card matchup.
Wild Card Preview - Chuck Pagano and the Colts desperately want to get to the Super Bowl, but to get there they will have to take down the Dolphins in the AFC wild card round.
Pursuing History - Now separating himself from the pack, Calvin Johnson Jr. was so close to the single-season receiving yards record.
Record in Sight - Larry Fitzgerald has been all over the field this year, and now with 1,701 reception yards, he's came pretty close to the single-season record.
See Who's Tweetin'

Philbin at the helm.@SkipBaylessEA - Didn't expect colts to make it this far under Chuck Pagano, but January's an entirely different story in the NFL.@RoFloEA - Talked with Blackburn, and he was just thankful to his front seven for allowing him to get to the ball carriers.@WingozEA - Ben Roethlisberger ends year with a QB rating of 103.3%, which is tops in the NFL.@MarkSchlerethEA - Really special year for Antonio Brown, and it's been noticed by all.@WingozEA - It's really no surprise to see Matt Forte crowned as the NFC offensive player of the week.@SkipBaylessEA - Sorry but Matt Cassel will not do this again once teams take notice. #AFCPoW@MarkSchlerethEA - Chris Clemons really played like a mad man this week. #NFCPoW@mortreportEA - The well versed Joe Haden takes home #AFCPoW for Week #17.@RoFloEA - Larry Fitzgerald only needed 24 more catches to top the record books.@RossTuckerEA - Matt Forte owes plenty of offensive linemen dinner. #RushingToRecordBooks@WingozEA - Calvin Johnson Jr. wanted to be the next Jerry Rice. If he got a few more yards, he would have had the record for yards in a season.@WingozEA - Multiply Josh Freeman's total yardage by three, and you're still about 10,000 yards short of Brett Favre.@MattMillerEA - The Giants will actually end the regular season having thrown less than 10 INTs.@WingozEA - 9,000 yards and probably plenty more to follow for Ray Rice.

Plenty of others have skill, but his mind separates him from the pack.@WingozEA - Ray Rice has been awarded as the best running back in the NFL for a second time.@MarkSchlerethEA - Ben Roethlisberger has been a game changer this year. #bestQB@WingozEA - Fresh out of college, Ashton Blue has won Defensive Rookie of the Year award. #AFC@RossTuckerEA - Kyle Angle was an immediate impact player this year. #RoY #AFC@SkipBaylessEA - The best defensive player deserves this award, and that player is Rey Maualuga. #DMVP@RossTuckerEA - I don't think anybody in the media was too surprised to hear Rey Maualuga won defensive player of the year@JerryRiceEA - Was able to win a couple of these awards with the Niners, awesome moment for Tom Brady. #OPOY@SkipBaylessEA - Tom Brady now has a taste of greatness. Let's see how he handles it. #MVP
