        2015 - Week #10

No Way to Slow Him - Darrius Heyward-Bey wants to be known as a leader, and he led by example today by piling up 154 yards receiving on the day.

Potent Pass Rush - The Redskins took over with an outstanding 8-sack performance against Cowboys' QB Mike Flenorl en route to a victory

A #1 Option - It's clear that Larry Fitzgerald has never rested on his laurels. He's now moved past Reggie Wayne into 9th on the all-time list for receptions.

The Long Way Home - Then Bengals left today's 25-17 game with a loss to the Steelers.

Crump Honored as Top LB - Pittsburgh LB Dave Crump has been honored with the Nagurski Award.
@ScottWrightEA - Crown him. Dave Crump is a Nagurski Award shoo-in.

        See Who's Tweetin'
@RoFloEA - I talked with #NFCPoW Ryan Mathews BEFORE his big game. #luckycharm
@mortreportEA - Close race this week but Pierre Thomas has been awarded #AFCPoW honors.
@SkipBaylessEA - You don't get to be one of the best at outside linebacker like Ryan Kerrigan by accident. #NFCPoW
@MikeHillEA - This isn't the first time watching Darnell Dockett on D has been appointment TV.
@RossTuckerEA - Run blocking > pass blocking. I'm sure O-line enjoyed beating up that defense while Pierre Thomas ran all over them.
@AdamSchefterEA - It was a day to remember for Pierre Thomas. 7th-most rushing yards ever in a single game.
@WingozEA - Andrew Luck did a great job throwing TDs this week. #fantasy
@ScottWrightEA - Larry Fitzgerald was always such projectable athlete, that's what GMs loved about him before he was drafted.
@LArringtonEA - Darrius Heyward-Bey was really helping to drive the Raiders offense in this one.
@SkipBaylessEA - Are you kidding me? The #Cowboys offensive line was just plain offensive. Just TRY to block someone.
@SkipBaylessEA - Home field advantage trumps sleeping in a strange bed. Steelers get the win.

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)

                    IT'S TRUE...
                    Defense can win ball games...
                    PATRIOTS 19 - Steelers 9

Foxboro, MA - I guess I'll take that win, but only because the defense stepped up it's game against newly extended Big Ben Roethlisberger. 8 Sacks, 1 Fumble Recovery, and 1 interception shows how tough they can be. On top of that no touchdowns were scored.

Well one touchdown was score by C.J Spiller very early in the game off a Roethlisberger fumble. He was the only highlight in this one other than the 7 field goals combined that were scored. Over 100 yards and a touchdown, I'd say that's a good effort.

Now over to the second year QB, Kyle Angle. Two interceptions and under 50% completion percentage? Those are stats of a rookie back-up quarterback. He better recover quick because this inconsistency is getting on the nerves of everyone in New England. Unlike most other teams, the Patriots are the hometown team to 6 states. They have the biggest fan base across the world, and they need to step up their game.

Heading to Missouri next week to play the Kansas City Chiefs. Jamaal Charles has been known to run the ball like a mad-man, so the Patriots need to contain that. Here's to a defensive win and hopefully show better offense next game. Peace....

Scary D - Kyle A ferocious Patriots' defense tallied 8 sacks as they beat the Steelers 19-9.
@RossTuckerEA - No hyperbole necessary. Patriots had the best defensive front in the NFL this week. 8 sacks proves it.

An Unsuccessful Road Trip - The Steelers could not get the win in New England, falling to the Patriots 19-9.
@SkipBaylessEA - Patriots just seem to look better at home.

                      2015 - Week #11

Turkey and Football - Enjoy a big meal while watching some good football as the Browns will take on the Bengals on Thanksgiving Day.

Banding Together - It's a frustrating Week 11 for Jordy Nelson as he went down with a broken wrist this week.

Franchise Maker - Eli Manning continues to deal with the extra eyes that are fixed on him. He's 9th all time on the passing TD list.

Route Running Aficionado - Larry Fitzgerald has made more than a fair share of cornerbacks look silly en route to racking up the 8th most receiving yards in NFL History.

Climbing the Ranks - Larry Fitzgerald has always dealt with pressure and exceeded expectations, and that's why he was able to pass Steve Largent on the all-time touchdown receptions list.

Saint undone at Home - The Saints were at home, but they could not get the win. They fall 34-12 to the visiting Buccaneers.

Quickest TE Out There - It's rare to see a tight end as fast as Leroy Johnson. In a two TE situation, he'll be a monster.
@ToddMcShayEA - Are you sure this guy is a TE? Leroy Johnson could trouble many defenses.

@MarkSchlerethEA - Amen. RT @ChaseBecotte Chili + Thanksgiving dinner = winning combo in my books.
@WingozEA - It's really no surprise to see Matt Forte crowned as the NFC offensive player of the week.
@AdamSchefterEA - Tim Tebow is not used to this attention, but he'll get plenty more now that he's #AFCPoW
@RossTuckerEA - If Sherrod Martin wants to be part of scouting reports, this is how you do it. #NFCPoW
@RossTuckerEA - Nice moment for Sam Bradford this week, he eclipsed 20,000 passing yards.
@MarkSchlerethEA - Pete Carroll keeps just pounding out those wins.
@SkipBaylessEA - It's fun just watching Larry Fitzgerald each week. He's been must-see TV his entire career. #recordwatch
@MikeHillEA - Is there really any doubt Larry Fitzgerald is going to keep moving towards historical receiving yard numbers?
@SkipBaylessEA - Bad situation for Jordy Nelson. He's a main piece for Seahawks, and he knows they need him out there.
@MarkSchlerethEA - Got to see the highlights from the Jets game, what a day for Tim Tebow.
@MarkSchlerethEA - Never take for granted what Eli Manning is doing right now. #recordwatch #touchdownterror
@MattMillerEA - Saints will be dissatisfied to say the least after coming up short at home.
@MikeHillEA - Spoke with John Harbaugh, and 75 wins later he still has plenty he wants to accomplish.

                            The Comeback that almost was...
Pats score 4 TDs in 4th, still lose.
                            PATRIOTS 38 - Chiefs 40

Kansas City, MO - By halftime 25% of the Patriots' fans tuned out after being behind 20-10 with absolutely no offense to give them hope. By the end of the third quarter 50 out of the remaining 75% decided to call it an early afternoon. For the remaining 25%, the 4th quarter was an exciting time to be a Patriots fan. Four touchdowns were scored and three were in the air.

Kyle Angle played heroically as he was able to turn around his performance. In the first half he completed only 4 passes and one was to the other team for 6 points. Nobody thought this young quarterback had the comeback mentality to do what he did. The Patriots may have lost, but it was a great fight.

All touchdowns were split between 2 players, C.J Spiller and Rob Gronkowski. Spiller got two on the ground and one through the air, and the Gronk picked up 2 during some redzone action. Even though the touchdowns went to these guys, the man of the 4th quarter was Bryant Ford. He pulled in 9 catches and just shy of 200 yards including a long 70+ yarder that almost went for a TD.

The defense played the best it could. Kept the explosive Charles to 101 yards and overall kept the run game quiet. Former Patriot Matt Cassel was the tough one. He completed almost 75% of his passes and had 364 yards and 3 scores. He had a near perfect game in passer rating standards. He should be a prime candidate for Player of the Week.

The one downfall to the game was the leg of Stephen Gostkowski. He missed 2 more field goals today including a 55 yarder for the win. If he could have hit either one of those two, we'd be hearing a different story on ESPN. He had the chance to solidify the game and make Kyle Angle the comeback story of the year. But this ended up putting the Patriots to 7-4 for the year and struggling to keep pace with the Miami Dolphins for the lead in the AFC East.

Heading back home to play the Ravens, the Patriots need to work to win this next game. If they're looking for a playoff spot, they need to win atleast 4 of the next 5 games to be comfortable. That final game against the Dolphins may be for the AFC East crown and could be and exciting one. We will see you next week.

Touchdown Times 3 - Matt Cassel figured out this week that it tends to be a winning formula if you can throw for 3 touchdowns.
@RoFloEA - Maybe the football was corked? No other explanations for that passing day. #Chiefs

Slipping By - The Chiefs managed to scrape by the Patriots at home 40-38.
@LArringtonEA - When it's close like this one, good to have the crowd on your side. #homefield

                              2015 - Week #12

Back in Action - Chandler Jones will be back in action after being sidelined by an injury sustained earlier in the season.

Randy Starts Frustrated by Injury - The Dolphins can't afford to be without Randy Starks for several weeks, but they'll have to deal with that reality.

Quick off the Line - A win is all the Vikings were looking for today, and Percy Harvin helped them get that by racking up 176 yards receiving.

Pounding out TDs - Maurice Jones-Drew truly is a special talent that has gotten better with age. He picked up his 112th rushing TD this week and now owns 4th place on the all-time TD list.

No Snaps Off - You'll still find a smile on the face of Steven Jackson on the sidelines. He hasn't lost his love for the game, and he hasn't lost his love of moving up the all-time rushing list...

Franchise Maker - Eli Manning continues to deal with the extra eyes that are fixed on him. He's 8th all-time on the passing TD list.

Steady as He Goes - Larry Fitzgerald has made a career out of being a reliable threat. He's moved past Isaac Bruce into 8th place on the all-time receptions list.

@MarkSchlerethEA - In the locker room, you get a little boost seeing somebody like Chandler Jones come back.
@MikeHillEA - It shouldn't come as a shock to hear that Tarvaris Jackson is the NCF player of the week.
@AdamSchefterEA - Matt Cassel is not used to this attention, but he'll get plenty more now that he's #AFCPoW
@mortreportEA - The well versed Malcolm Jenkins takes home #NFCPoW for Week 12.
@WingozEA - Frankly, I'm tired of talking about Troy Polamalu. Stop being so good. #AFCPoW
@MarkSchlerethEA - Never gets old just watching Larry Fitzgerald pull in pass after pass. #recordwatch
@MarkSchlerethEA - Forcing turnovers is a mindset you have to get your team to buy into. #49ers
@RoFloEA - You have to tune in each week to see Eli Manning just to see what will happen next. #recordwatch
@MattMillerEA - You see the tenacity Steven Jackson runs with and it really is inspiring. He's 7th on the rushing list now.
@MarkSchlerethEA - Randy Starks suffers a forearm fracture and is going to be out several weeks. #breakingnews
@MattMillerEA - Maurice Jones-Drew has moved into 4th place on the all time rushing TD list. #alltimegreat
@RoFloEA - I want to hear from Percy Harvin after his receiving show today.
@MikeHillEA - Looks at Adrian Peterson's body of work and you'd think he's been around for 20 years. #recordwatch
@RossTuckerEA - Had a chance to speak with Tarvaris Jackson, and he was excited about how the offense looked this week. #wellduh
