2012 - Week #5
Needing Rest - The Dolphins are hoping that the injury to Reggie Bush will only leave him sidelined for a couple of games.

@AdamSchefterEA - Reggie Bush isn't going to be available to the Dolphins the next couple weeks. #fantasy@WingozEA - Aaron Rodgers did a great job throwing TDs this week.@WingozEA - Shawne Merriman is going to be the midseason pick-up of the year. Or maybe he won't. #indecision@mortreportEA - A solid, hotly contested win for the Broncos against the Patriots.@MattMillerEA - Since 158.3 stands for "perfect" who wants it? P. Tatupu.@RossTuckerEA - Great players put forth great effort. #simple #AFCPoW@RossTuckerEA - If you're passing like Jay Cutler was this week, you don't need much else.@WingozEA - No doubt about it, Reggie Nelson is the AFC defensive player of the week.@MikeHillEA - Everybody knew Chris Long was coming up with #NFC defensive player of the week this time around.@MarkSchlerethEA - Jay Cutler was simply unstoppable this week. #NFCPoW

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
Winless in Seattle
Ridley Injured as Patriots lose
PATRIOTS 16 - Seahawks 22
Seattle, WA - Patriots fans are sitting with their head in their hands. Another loss...and I'm not talking about the game. Stevan Ridley goes out early in the first quarter with an injury to his jaw. Medical staff is pointing towards a Broken Jaw, but results aren't back as of yet. If it is a broken jaw, we have seen these type injuries last about a month.
With Ridley out, it looks like Mallett will need to step up. Up to this far we allowed him to be himself and find out the rhythm of the team. Pro Bowl captain Jerod Mayo and all-pro hopeful Stevan Ridley are no longer here and he has to find ways to win. He may have to become Brady for the next stretch of games.
Brandon Bolden stepped up and couldn't keep the pace Ridley was going with but Shane Vereen did make an impact and provided the Patriots with their only touchdown of the day on a long run.
Back to back turnovers from Mallett (interception) and Edelman (fumble) proved that the Patriots were not meant to win this game. They couldn't find a rhythm and had trouble getting past the 50 yard line. Even though they kept the Seattle passing attack to low yards, they were not able to make a good enough impact to turn the game in their favor.
Patriots face the Jets at home next week and will be starting Brandon Bolden who will be splitting carries with Shane Vereen with a sprinkle of Danny Woodhead. See you next week!

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
So sad over losing Ridley. I don't seeing myself winning many more games until he returns. Since i have a bye shortly I should only be 3 more games without him and Mayo. This could get interesting!Comment

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
2012 - Week #6
Lacing Up the Cleats - The Lions got some good news this week when team doctors said Kevin Smith would be able to return to the practice field this week.
R. Bush Will Return This Week - here's some good news if you're a Dophins fan this week: Reggie Bush will be activated and is scheduled to return to the field.
Slipping By - The Dolphins obviously just wanted to scare their home fans before winning this week.
Licking His Wounds - The Patriots are hoping that the inury to Stevan Ridley will only leave him sidelined for a couple of games.
Settled in Overtime - The Bengals were able to one-up the Browns 37-31.
The Final Score Is... - The Seahawks don't have to worry about backlash from the fans on the radio this week.
See Who's Tweetin'
@MarkSchlerethEA - Got to see the highlights from the Bills game, what a day for Ryan Fitzpatrick.@RossTuckerEA - It's always the rule: protect home field. Seattle did that.@MikeHillEA - Head coach Marvin Lewis was really proud of his guys, loved seeing the extra push from them in OT.@SkipBaylessEA - Slow news day if I'm seeing all this talk about Stevan Ridley being out a couple weeks.@RossTuckerEA - If only every game could be that close. #Dolphins@RossTuckerEA - It's always all hands on deck in the NFL so getting back Reggie Bush will help this week.@mortreportEA - Lions will have Kevin Smith back this week.@RoFloEA - Using the term 'man possessed' sums up the play of Jurrell Casey this week. #AFCPoW@RoFloEA - Fantasy owners, be sure to say thanks to Andrew Luck -- or curse his name if you had to go H2H against him.@WingozEA - Of course Andrew Luck was given AFC offensive player of the week, you see his numbers?@Donny_Moore - Two things are certain this wk...) A. Luck is not playing like a rook 2) Somebody getting some Madden Ratings love in the #RosterUpdate@MarkSchlerethEA - Tony Romo was simply unstoppable this week. #NFCPoW@MarkSchlerethEA - Scary good performance by DeAndre Levy on defense this week. #NFCPoW

I've added a "My Stories" season recap on the first page for people to catch up real quick to what's gone on. I put a spoiler around it because I recommend reading all the posts to get fully involved. I've put a lot of work into this and would like for you to enjoy every line I write.Comment
