Hey Dad,

We're about to leave for the airport. We're an 8 point underdog going into Texas State, but I can't imagine it'll be that close. They have the 28th ranked defense in the nation!

Luckily, their offense isn't very good. If we can keep the game within reach, maybe our option heavy run game will wear them down.

Did you see the recruit attachment from the last email? I'm going to make a heavy run at all five of those guys. If we can't get the recruits in Montana, how are we supposed to get HS'ers to come to Montana?

Well, I've got to get down to the bus. I'll email you from the hotel after the game.

We've got a recruit coming too. Jerry Luna's his name. He's a halfback from Washington. The recruiting services aren't too high on him, but he's interested in Montana State and he's scored 6 TD's so far this season. I'll take what I can get.

We play Idaho this week. They're also 0-8. It's a battle of the bottom dwellers, and we're a 5 point favorite.

We've got another recruit coming in. Howard Hart is a solid cornerback out of Michigan, and we're really hoping to steal him from the Midwest. He's got 30 tackles this season and an interception. I think he's got real potential.

I'm emailing you from the plane. We're on our way south to New Mexico. We head into New Mexico State as a 4 point underdog. Can't say I'm surprised.

NM State is 2-6 on the year, and the Bobcats are looking to drop that 7th loss on them. We've looked good in practice. I don't know why, but I think this may be our week.

Man, I am feeling your pain. Every day...I check out your team, and hope to see a win. Just keep playing my man...things will get better. I went thur the same thing my first season and only got 3 wins with UNC.

This is really why the game is good. You just can't a team like on NCAA13 and win the NC in 2 years. I'am into my 4th and looks like will have a setback this year as I can't seem to stop anyone on defense.

Don't give up......looking forward to seeing that 1st win.
