    The V {Fresno St.}; A Donte' Thomas Journey

    http://www.operationsports.com/forum...s-journey.html
    ^^^ The Donte' Thomas NBA2K13 Journey ^^^

    Game: NCAA Football '13
    Platform: XBOX360
    Sliders: SECElite
    Roster: OS Community Roster
    Difficulty: Heisman
    Recruiting Difficultly: Heisman
    Coach Contracts: Yes

Welcome fellas, this is my 2nd dynasty I am doing, I've enjoyed doing dynasties so far as I've stopped playing online because of all the cheese, exploits and lack of competition and decided to stick with offline. The above link is page to my first dynasty, my journey as an NBA player, if you enjoy good dynasties, you'll enjoy that and this one, (I also will be doing a Madden dynasty)

I have custom conferences, I will post them shortly, they will be included in the next post, also custom BCS Tie-Ins. **Spoiler Alert** The Big East is all but diminished, so the Fiesta Bowl is between the MAC conference and C-USA.

My favorite school is USC, as I'm planning on becoming a IRL Alum (applying this fall) and it would be a dream to coach there one day, however, I do like working my way up the ranks. I didn't want to coach a team in a power conference, if any, it would've been Vanderbilt as I enjoyed a dynasty with them in '10, my school choice came down between Ball St., Bowling Green, Marshall, East Carolina, SMU and Fresno St. I chose ECU originally, but after some thinking, I decided to stick with my usual offline team, Fresno St. Why? I have no idea, but it should be fun.

How I Play: The most important thing I do, is play sim and realistic, even against the CPU. One of the biggest, is using the left analog stick to make a cut when running the ball. I always use the right analog to make ANY kind of cut! Outside of that, I punt on 4th downs, even 4th and inches, never onside kick unless necessary, you know, the real stuff. Anyway, I'll introduce my coach and play style fairly soon, and give you guys a look into my NCAA world with an outlook of conferences and what not. Hope you guys enjoy.

Thomas Introduced as FS Head Coach; Calls Out UCLA
FRESNO -- The Fresno St. Bulldogs have introduced USC alum, Donte' Thomas as their next head coach.

"I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity this school has given me. Whereas I wish to change the culture here in Fresno, I want to continue to tradition, the "anyone, anywhere" mentality, the grit these players show, the passion from the students and the fans, i wish to build upon that. I'm hoping to come here and change the mentality of these players, and these fans, we're going to contend, we're going to fight and win ball games, we're not going to be UCLA. This team is full of competitor, I believe we have the talent to compete, I believe we have the personnel to compete, and that's what we're going to do. We're going to compete, we're not going to be afraid to play anybody, anywhere. You can come to the Dogghouse, but expect to leave with an L, or we can go to your house, but be ready for a dog fight," Head Coach Donte' Thomas said.

UCLA Head Coach Jim Mora did not take exception to Thomas's quote, proclaiming Thomas as, 'Lane Kiffin's little brother'.

"He's just another one of those USC guys who's gonna run his mouth all year long, so I wouldn't expect anything less," Mora said.

The two programs were in a "War of Words" at the end of last season, and the two programs have agreed to schedule a home-and-home series, starting this season.

The season opener for both teams will be played in Pasadena in Week.

    Conference Realignment

With the landscape of College Football continuously changing with teams leaving and joining new conferences, I've decided to have my own custom conferences as well, most of them geographically based, some competition wise, and others because they will take effect in the future. With that in mind, I've also updated BCS tie-ins, most notably the Fiesta Bowl. So here are the conference outlooks, and where teams are located.

    BCS Tie-Ins

Fiesta Bowl - C-USA Champion v. MAC Champion
Orange Bowl - ACC Champion v. At Large
    Rose Bowl - Big 10 Champion v. Pac-12 Champion
Sugar Bowl - Big XII Champion v. SEC Champion

    ===========

On a side note, I do watch CPU v. CPU games occasionally, games that I find interesting, possibly games of the week, or good matchups, so expect a couple mini write-ups on CPU games just to bring the league alive. Anyway, without further ado....
