I looked around for my cell phone in my bag so I could call my mom and tell her what had happened.

Once I found it I called immediately.

"MOM."

"Have you heard about Kendrick??? He got shot."

"Goodness gracious..." She said as I knew the tears were already erupting. "Do you know if he's ok right now and what hospital is he in?"

"The article and announcer told us he's in fair condition and is at St. John Hospital & Medical Center."

"Ok, I've gotta go. I'm about I drive to that hospital."

Nick: See Diego, I told you we would get whooped.
D: Well yeah, now that I know their QB is going to Penn State, their HB is going to Duke, and their receiver is going to Miami(FL). How can we stop that?

Belltown falls to Cass Tech, 44-24

On a rainy night at Rynearson Stadium, the Belltown Tigers fall to the Cass Tech Technicians, 44-24. The game started quickly for Belltown, as Louis Orkedi hit Ross Blankenship for a 20 yard gain. Orkedi would then throw his first TD of the year to Carlos Ruiz to make it 7-0.
Unfourtunately, most of the good would stop there for Belltown. After the fast start and even taking a 24-10 lead into the locker room, Cass Tech roared back with 34 unanswered to win, 44-24.

Joe: You kind of brought this on yourself.
Nia: No he didn't. Kendrick treated me like a toy, he deserved to get shot. I'm sure he was making out with some girls at that party he went to.
Joe: Dang! I'm out!(Leaves with Emily)
Nick: *Sees Omari* We have to get to somewhere more secluded.
Nia: Ok. (They get into a small place behind a teacher's door and a wall. They stand so the only person you can see is Nick)
Nick: Ok, oh I forgot, I have to get to class early.(Kisses Nia and walks to class)
Nia: Bye!
