    GABBERT GETS TAKEN DOWN.

In a showdown of the 2 worse teams in the NFL, the Browns defeated the Jaguars 20-7 with their stifling defense on Sunday.

The Browns were able to sack Blaine Gabbert 6 times in the victory. The Jaguars didn't score a single point until the 4th quarter on a Denard Robinson touchdown run.

The Browns offense didn't do much either outside of the 128 yards rushing performance from Dion Lewis. Brandon Weeden finished 9-of-26 for just 129 yards in the win.

D'Qwell Jackson led the defense with 16 tackles and a 21 yard pick six.

TEXANS WIN NAILBITTER OVER JAGUARS 25-22
JAGS CAN'T OVERCOME FUMBLES IN LOSS

          Week 14, 2013
          HOUSTON TEXANS 25
          JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS 22

Blackmon's big day wasn't enough to get the win.

Sitting at 1-11, many thought the jaguars would lay down for their AFC South rivals the Houston Texans, but the Jags fought until the last whistle has they fell to Houston 25-22.

The loss dropped Jacksonville to 1-12 but the team flashed some potential. QB Blaine Gabbert probably played his best game of the season throwing for 348 yards and two touchdowns. But of course with the good comes the bad. Gabbert threw three picks and fumbled the ball on a potential scoring drive. WR Justin Blackmon, playing in only his 5th game of the season, finished with a season high 11 catches for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Rookie safety Johnathan Cyprien intercepted Matt Schaub twice. Cyprien has been one of the lone bright spots for the Jaguars defense this season. Geno Hayes finished with a game high 11 tackles.

Sources say that 1st year head coach is on the hot seat but they good showing against the Texans may have saved his job for one more season.

Looks like the Jaguars are finally putting it together, even though it's a few weeks too late. The Jaguars defeated the Buffalo Bills 25-22 on Sunday with a last second field goal from Josh Scobee. The win pretty much insures that Gus Bradley will be back next season.

The Jaguars were led by a blanced offensive attack. Blaine Gabbert played well again throwing for 246 yards and 2 touchdowns. Justin Forsett led the run game with 108 yards on 24 carries. The Jags were down to Forsett and Denard Robinson after loosing Jeff Demps to a broken collarbone on the opening kickoff.

The games was close throughout and the Bills had multiple chances to punch the ball into the endzone but they had to settle for field goals by Dustin Hopkins. Rookie E.J. Manuel played well finishing 17-of-29 for 202 yards and a touchdown.

Will Gabbert's play the last few games save his job?

For the many times in the past few weeks Blaine Gabbert has actually looked like a NFL quarterback. He continued it on Sunday but it wasn't enough has the Jaguars fell to the Titans 27-13.

Gabbert managed the game well throwing a touchdown with zero picks but he got no help from the run game or the defense. Justin Forsett rushed for only 30 yards on 20 attempts. The Titans defense completely shutdown the Jags running attack.

The defense looked even worse letting Chris Johnson rush for 140 yards and 3 touchdowns. Yes that was not a typo. Johnson had his way all afternoon with the Jaguars defense averaging 5.6 yards a carry in the win. The Titans dominated the time of possession by pounding the rock downs the throat of the Jags defense all game long.

The Jacksonville Jaguars ended the 2013 season on a high note with a thrilling 14-10 win over their AFC South rivals the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

The game was a low scoring affair with the Colts holding a slim 10-7 lead late in the 4th quarter. The Colts were driving and in position to seal the game with a score until rookie Johnathan Cyprien picked off Andrew Luck for the 2nd time and he was able to return it 75 yards for a touchdown to put the Jaguars up 14-10 for good. The loss ended any chance the Colts had at a playoff spot.

The Jaguars will now head into the offseason to continue the rebuild of their team. With a 3-12 record their guaranteed at least a top 3 pick in the 2014 draft.
