The Life and Times Of A Created Player: Jim Hormone

Since MLB 99 I've always liked adding created players to games. It started by creating an entire team to replace the Kansas City Royals with the hopes of league dominance. Every year in one of the major sports games I get the itch to re-build a team with created players that are either overly powerful, way below average, old, young, fat, skinny, all fast, etc. I love taking a game and making a story out of a player or a team that doesn't exist in the real world that I follow avidly day to day.

The list of players I create and put into these games varies from time to time but the majority of guys I make stay the same. One however has been in every game I've ever used created players in, that man is Jim Hormone (whore-moan-ay is how that reads). Jim Hormone was the brain child of a late night creating a baseball team of friends and family. When we ran out of friends and family that we deemed worthy of being in our fantasy baseball adventure we started making up names. Jim was one of those completely fictional created players and went on to be a superstar in that first season with the Kansas City Royals and thus he stuck. Since that day Jim Hormone has played in the MLB, NBA, NFL, and the NFL. He's ridden skateboards in Tony Hawk, and has played soccer in the UEFA Champions League. Jim Hormone has ventured outside the sports world too and has taken his horse all over Skyrim, shot at anything that moved after fleeing from Vault 101, and has died numerous times trying to get from point A to point B in "FTL".

It's time to start documenting his life. He deserves it. He's been through too much for his life to go unnoticed.

This is "The Life of a Created Player" featuring Jim Hormone and his life is going to begin with a stint in America's favorite league, The National Football League. Enjoy.

Halfway through season one of the NFL career of Jim Hormone and he had quite the home appearance against the Buffalo Bills. Would he reach 200 yards and how would a pair of simulations treat him after a couple of rough simulations last video.

Forgot to set up my mic to record the game commentary live so had to edit in audio that I recorded later.

Jim Hormone started off season 2 of his NFL career with a broken jaw that put him on the DL for 4 weeks. He's back though and ready to chase after that ever elusive 200 yard rushing game and keep his Saints moving towards a post season run. How would he fair against the Tennessee Titans on the road???

After a terribly injured plagued first 13 weeks Jim is back on the field against the Packers with the playoffs in site. Would the return from a broken collar bone be filled with broken tackles or would Jim find yet another way to land on the injury list?

Re: The Life and Times Of A Created Player: Jim Hormone

It's the final game of the regular season in Jim's 2nd year as a pro. MAJOR playoff implications in this one. Saints win and they're in, Lions win and they're in. Meanwhile the loser goes to the offseason. Jim is coming off a injury to his knee that kept him out for a week? Will he rise up and put the team on his back and get them into the postseason or does his offseason start today?

Jim barely survived his second season in the NFL thanks to injuries on top of injuries. How would he do as the post season started with a Wild Card matchup against the Green Bay Packers?
