Great picture of Church trucking McVay of Kent State... looks like he got folded up like a lawn chair!

Lawson appears to have been super efficient those first two wins and spreading the ball around to all the receivers, hard to stop with Bully and Montgomery keeping things balanced on the ground.

I agree on speed not being the be all and end all for receivers. Especially if you have offensive line issues - need a guy who can get open underneath and make a sure catch first with yards after catch as just a bonus. Usually in these rebuilding jobs you don't have enough time to wait for a guy to get open deep, have to make a read or two and get the ball out quickly.

I am finally all caught up after my hiatus. Great start to the season. The team is looking really strong and I loved the site aside with Pellier, haha a very nice touch. Looking forward to seeing how the team fares in the tougher part of the schedule.

So true, agree with everything you said. Yeah, Church is an animal. With Lawson, it's almost too easy (if there's a guy open) because he's so accurate, but as soon as everything is covered it's a sack, can't buy any time with a guy like him, too slow. Still happy he's the QB.

Me too, I can't wait to find some time to play!

With finals coming up this week and a jam packed schedule, this will be the last post for awhile

                Clockwise, from top left:
Vincent Church pushes his way into the end zone.
Deon Watson makes mincemeat of press coverage.
Chad Chalich gets upended on a short run
Watson continues to push around the man lined up in front of him.

Editor's Note: You may notice the formatting for the game reports has been changed. I've been wanting to lessen the workload on posting game reports, and realized that I didn't necessarily care if the opponent stats were in there. I'll try to do a decent job of mentioning them, or I might add a few at some point. However, this minimizes the number of files I'm working with a little bit and hopefully will be a nice update for me.

What a win over TCU and one like you said I don't think any of us would have predicted in the preseason. Looks like a very tough season for the Horned Frogs. Even with their struggles though this is still a huge win for the team and a big testament to how far you have taken the program.

Love the new reporting style, very clean and not having the opponents stats didn't feel like a huge loss to me. Just a heads up I think your rushing statistics for this game are off as it is showing you scoring four touchdowns. Probably just a typo. Very minor, but figured you would want to know.

Loving this as always my friend.

thank you amigo - very much; I fixed those. I spent so much time creating it that I rushed it a bit, I found a few things to fix and made the changes. I was surprised and a little disappointed about how easily the game went. I'm still using the same sliders that saw me lose the last two games of the year last year - and I really wanted to win the bowl game. Can't really explain why we're doing so much better on defense, I think part of it is we're not panicking when they make a big play against us, as long as they don't get it into the end zone, it's a win with this emerging force of an offense.

Solid win over Utah State. It wasn't even close. A fantastic article. I really enjoy your writing and feel it adds a lot of depth to this project. As a reader, it gets me that much more involved and invested. I really like the coaching style of Clark, it is that true old school blue collar mentality. The coaching ranks...heck the entire world...needs more of that these days.

Still looking good Hellisan....You're one of the Godfathers of this whole dynasty reporting thing.

"Sarah Pellier" - LMAO...Man you are a fool haha

Fioleto and Watson are doing damage this season. Did Watson get hurt in that last game? He seemed to be your unquestioned go-to guy going in and he struggled.
