An ugly game all the way around between the defensive breakdowns and the injuries. I know we talked about it extensively but that's college football, you never know what is going to happen. You have to love it in a way. Hang in there my friend and get right back on that horse against San Jose.

Solid win against San Jose State! I will admit it was closer than I was expecting. Deon Watson was the definition of clutch in that one.
I like the decision to go with Chalich down the stretch. He adds a nice spark and dimension to your offense. It should be a good game against a Hawaii squad that looks much better than their record. Good luck man!A Rising Storm in the North | Cheese's Eastern Michigan Dynasty (NCAA '12)

Back to game action, this was kind of the defense I kind of expected to see from your boys this year. Can't believe Fresno put up 41 straight points in the middle of that game though. Looks like they were all entertaining to play though.
Good luck getting that win against Hawaii and hopefully Fresno State stumbles so you can get back to the MWC Championship and have another shot at Boise.Comment

You were right on about Hawaii, when I looked at what they had actually done this year and how my games had been going, I knew that this would be hard. The defense as Matt points out completely out played their ratings in the first half of the season. They are really bad, lol.
My high school basically stole the logos/look from them. It's easy when the school name starts with I and nickname starts with V. The football helmets/baseball hats were the exactly what you see Coach Clark wearing, but without the "Vandals" across the I.

Like you said, this D wasn't ever supposed to be any good and now we are seeing the true Vandal defense just rearing its ugly, bloodied head... sheesh. I'm facing Temple in the bowl game so we'll see how that happens. I really need a win there for 10 wins and some decent shot at 4 stars (even though it probably won't happen and shouldn't). Maybe someone knows more about the NCAA 14 requirements than I do, but whatever happens happens.
Fresno didn't end up losing. I'll be posting about that soon.Last edited by Hellisan; 02-02-2016, 01:37 PM.Comment

Fantastic dynasty you've got going here Helli. I remember your UVA/MTSU dynasty back on NCAA 07. Still one of my favorite dynasties to this day. You had that one RB, can't remember his name but his nickname was "Rumble."

I wanted to pop in and say how much I enjoy your dynasty. The layout and graphics are excellent. The uniforms make the team in my opinion - how awesome they are! Good luck in the postseason. Go Vandals!Comment

Nice win over Hawaii in a back and forth battle. I really liked the added storyline of Filoteo and Lakalaka being from the same area. Chalich provided the offense with the spark we were hoping to see despite the two turnovers. Nice mention to BDawg as well ha!
I am excited to see who you draw in the postseason. The team has had a strong regular season and continues to improve. Loving this as always!A Rising Storm in the North | Cheese's Eastern Michigan Dynasty (NCAA '12)

We ended up drawing Temple in the Poinsettia bowl. Coach Clark felt very at home in San Diego...

*ed note: the above photo is of Youmani Jones, not Terrance Carstens who was injured and out for the year during this game.
Note 2: Richard Montgomery had 4 carries for 16 yards. Eric Lawson had 3 carries /16 yardsLast edited by Hellisan; 02-07-2016, 05:25 AM.Comment
