Might be a PB for me, if it's not it's close. They do a good job of making it harder to get him carries as the game goes along, he was getting tired fast.

I had forgotten all about the suspensions. That certainly played a role in your season results, and almost assuredly resulted in your team grade being overstated all this time.

    Absolutely.

Not an overly spectacular recruiting class, but certainly some decent building blocks.

I think you're right about the class but I think we'll get a couple spectacular guys out of it.

Love the guard Mike Martinez. Guard is such an underrated position, both on this game and in real life. The great ones really bring a running game to the next level.

    Wish he was a freshman.

Frankie Vang has an interesting name haha. That's pretty cool, what you do with the high school names and apply it on here. I've never thought about doing something like that. Very creative.

Thank you, bro. I know we all get into this stuff in different ways. I love going on Google maps and looking at the town they came from (especially if it's local or in an adjoining state) and looking to see what the football team is called, and that's kind of how I stumbled upon the idea. Plus, creative is my middle name along with danger. ;-)

Old friend, it is great to see you back in full force posting both on the dynasty board and on the NCAA topic board. Us MaddenMania bretheren just can't let this habit go.

Thank you so much man. I have a full (re)reading of Tulane coming up soon. It always makes me smile to see another post coming along on tapatalk or on the board, to see you going strong.

Mine too, for sure. When I undo the ratings improvement of the default improvement thing, is when it's the most obvious how lazy that system is... Sometimes in the catch and route running ratings it's like +4 +4 +4 +4 +4 +4 +4 (same with running back ratings). No wonder all the players pretty much improve the same amount they don't even have variety in HOW they improve.

Since you posted this, it seems like you locked in this decision so I just say give it time, give it a real try, make the adjustments you need to make to have it stick for you, and I think you'll really like it.

    THANKS GUYS!

As someone who works with Excel a lot, I truly appreciate your ability to make most of your graphics with just tables and make it look incredibly aesthetically pleasing. Excited to see how this season starts out for you. Looking at your roster and the diverse overall ratings makes me that much more excited to use your random progression system with my UNC Tar Heels!

You really have perfected the art of Excel tables bro, looks so clean. Cool to see Atkinson as the preseason favorite for the Heisman. Hopefully he can lead you to glory this season!

B1G looks like a tough conference this year. 7 preseason ranked teams and 3 more in the top 35.

Thanks man. I don't get into the shading effects (have seen some great stuff from that) and custom backgrounds, but I've just put together some things that I can get done in a relatively short period of time that I think still add something. I appreciated the compliment bro. Thanks a lot man.

I'm thinking of doing a quick "fast forward" on a couple of defensive ends I drafted, one got a great Improvement rating and the others was very average. To do that and show how they might end up after a few years of improvement despite having nearly identical ratings to start. Always trying to get more people to try this lol.

Thank you. Yeah, I hope he has a great year. We'll need to run it behind a group that may not always have the ability to dominate, but Atkinson more than most backs I've used can slip between cracks, not go down on first contact with his own blockers, things like that. I think a 92 OVR rating is a little low based on "using" him.

Yeah it was tough last year and will be again I hope. I can't wait to play Ohio State and their 6'7", 99 OVR QB Justin McCarthy.

I’m a big Texas fan but here is to hoping Nigel Atkinson can start his Heisman campaign with a huge win over a top-10 team.

Just looking at that schedule Iowa has their work cut out for them, 6 teams ranked in the Preseason Top 10. Good luck with this season. Oh and take down tOSU!!!!

That is an impressive way to begin the season bro, excellent win. Must have been very fun playing that one. Gotta say I love your newspaper style layout, looks so fresh and clean. Great job Helli!

Yeah, it's definitely not going to be an easy season. We get every tough team from the other side of the league, I think Iowa State and Kansas may be the only "easy" games on paper this season.

Thank you man, I modeled it off the real one, I can't go full monty and do 10 stories on each game like they do for teams like Iowa, but the themes are similar. Thanks again.
