Re: The Career of J.D. Clark (NCAA 14)
Congrats on the girl man... They are definitely different aren't they... Man I can't imagine my life w/out mine. Well I'm chugging along but at some times the chugging is going to be very slow, I am back in college believe it or not, need a degree to keep my career buoyant in the future... This semester just 1 class and 60ish hours of work per week, but soon it'll be 3 classes etc... Still will be worth it. Take it easy sir.Comment

Re: The Career of J.D. Clark (NCAA 14)
Moscow, ID – Idaho used solid defense and a ball control offensive strategy to get their third win of the season at home against the Idaho State Bengals. The Bengals may also be located in the State of Idaho, but the teams are not rivals and rarely play. In fact, in a state as “tall” are Oregon and Washington combined, and a width wider than Utah, Moscow and Pocatello are located more than 8 hours apart.
“Doesn’t matter. It’s always nice to beat a team from in state,” interjected Coach Clark when confronted with that information.
Idaho started off the scoring with a six play, 4-yard drive that included a great kick return and big play by Dezmon Epps that set up a 1-yard touchdown plunge by Kristoffer Olugbode. Olugbode would get hurt later in the game and miss most of the action, but is expected to be back against Boise State next week.
The defense then got started defending the home field, eventually forcing 6 punts, a fumble recovery, and two turnovers on downs as they held the Bengals to 228 yards of total offense.
The offense was efficient as Chad Chalich used key weapon Dezmon Epps to perfection. Of his 223 yards passing, 118 were to Epps, along with three touchdowns. The key player on defense was middle linebacker Dan Wilcox, who finished with 10 tackles, three tackles for loss, and a sack.

I know it has probably been said, but the detail in which you report your dynasty is second to none! I love it and keep up the excellent work!
Good luck against Boise State!Comment

Re: The Career of J.D. Clark (NCAA 14)
Moscow, ID – It’s becoming clear that the Idaho Vandals play much better at home. The home field advantage seems to give them a physical boost so they don’t get manhandled as often on the lines. Could it be confidence? Could it be a significant game flaw? For now, we’ll just enjoy it and continue to keep track.
Yesterday was no different in this ongoing trend. It was clear Boise State was the more talented team, but they’ve had a disappointing season and it only turned for the worse as they fell to 2-4 on the season in Moscow, the 6th home win in a row for the gold-and-black-clad youngsters. Suffering the humiliation of a loss to Idaho should not be overlooked.
A key to Idaho’s home success has been scoring on the first drive as they always seem to lose the coin toss and end up with the ball. It wasn’t all candy and roses taking 12 plays including some tight 3rd down conversions, but a 34-yard run by HB Jerrel Brown got the team rolling and Chad Chalich found JUCO transfer WR Kevin Cooper from 5 yards out.
Boise tied the game on a 16-yard TD run by Jay Ajayi following a 46-yard reception by Shane Williams-Rhodes who outran Solomon Dixon on the play. Ajayi was a handful all game and ran 17 times for 146 yards and a pair of scores. After an Idaho punt, quarterback Nick Patti finished off another drive with a 2-yard scamper to take a 14-7 lead on the Vandals.
The defense kicked in and flat out took over the game for the entire second quarter until midway through the third quarter. Running back Richard Montgomery finished off a 12 play, 71-yard drive with a short touchdown run to tie the game, and then the teams traded punts before middle linebacker Dan Wilcox made a phenomenal play to intercept Patti in the flat. This flustered Patti, who then threw two interceptions in the second half, each to outside linebacker Mark Millan. In additiont to interceptions, Patti had numerous bad throws and decisions that killed drives as the Vandals seemed to have him on the ropes mentally despite hitting him just a couple times all game.
“Patti was making an effort to get the ball out immediately when he hit his back foot,” confirmed Coach Clark. “What happens then can be a good thing or a bad thing, and in this case he was struggling with the results of those decisions. I’m proud of the way the defense played today. They were detail orietned and made no excuses. We struggled to stop the rush, but luckily they didn’t lean on it like they probably could have.”
Chalich caught fire in this game, having one of his most impressive and efficient outings. From the Idaho 11 yard line he threw a perfect dig route to Dezmon Epps early in the third quarter and Epps broke away from the pack, going 89 yards to give the Vandals a 28-14 lead. The Broncos were able to claw back with an 11-play, 71-yard drive to get within seven points, then put great pressure on Chalich to force a punt.
However, Millan made his second interception of the game and Chalich took advantage, going 3-for-3 on a three play, 45-yard drive to give the Vandals a 35-21 lead.
Boise weren’t finished by any stretch of the imagination as they put together their second long touchdown drive of the game and scored on a short Ajayi run following a 25-yard pass to the tight end. Idaho failed to put the game away as Deon Watson dropped a wide open pass over the middle and Austin Rehkow missed a 58-yard FG attempt. However, the defense played stellar on the final Boise drive of the game. Solomon Dixon dropped an easy interception in the end zone, but attoned by batting down a tough pass on 4th down to effectively end the game.

Re: The Career of J.D. Clark (NCAA 14)
Olugbode Struggling to Stay Healthy -Starting HB Kristoffer Olugbode has suffered several injuries this year including a bruised ankle, bruised elbow, and bruised sternum along with elbow bursitis that caused him to miss almost all of the Boise State game and which will now keep him out against UNLV. He is expected to return after the bye week against San Jose State. "Apparently he bruises easily," joked Coach Clark. "No, I'm just kidding. He's had a rough go and we will need him down the stretch. I feel he is our best option when he's healthy - obviously - but I still feel that way now. Let's get this kid healthy and see him pick up 15 to 20 carries or so."
Newcomers Contributing to the Team - Coach Clark’s first recruiting class consisted mostly of high school kids, but had some talented JUCO players mixed in. Those players comprise some of the biggest first-year contributors which are listed below. MLB Dan Wilcox - Wilcox beat out Broc Westlake for the starting job. Westlake had a good season last year as the starter at middle linebacker but Wilcox wowed the coaching staff with his phenomenal athleticism and couldn't be kept from the starting role. He has 61 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, three sacks, and two interceptions so far this season. SS Tomy Williams - Williams hasn’t made huge plays yet but he’s been pretty solid in coverage and batted down three passes. He still has a lot to learn, and the coaching staff is working him hard every week in hopes that he takes more steps. He may have competition next year with the incoming recruiting class.. DE Zach Cable - Cable was inserted into the lineup after a fantastic offseason that saw him improve more than anyone on the team. He was behind Anthony Rice for the first few weeks but has claimed a starting role and played o.k., but hasn’t wowed. The coaching staff may give Rice another chance but they view Cable very highly due to his excellent work ethic. “He gets that from his dad,” said Coach Clark, referring to the Seahawks offensive line coach. Richard Montgomery, Mark Langford - Richard Montgomery redshirted last season and is seeing time on the field as the team’s third down back. Fullback Mark Langford didn’t have that luxury and when starter Jake Manley went down, the team had to burn his redshirt and plug him into the lineup. Each of these players are best out of the backfield as a receiver. Montgomery has 22 receptions for 191 yards (8.6 average), good for second on the team, in addition to 127 rushing yards on 34 carries, and three touchdowns. Langford has only carried the ball five times but has a touchdown and ranks fifth on the team with 14 receptions for 148 yards.Last edited by Hellisan; 10-13-2014, 06:58 AM.Comment

Re: The Career of J.D. Clark (NCAA 14)
I could tell that Boy-Z State game was a recent game from the screen shot.
Sadly, we'll all have to make do with cell phone screenshots, unless that El Gato is a screen capture device. In which case, yours may end up rocking better than the EA Sports World screens. I'm a Mac user. It seems like the screen capture devices I've heard of only work for PC's, but I'll look around. This ish is too important not to have every detail sparkle!
Speaking of details, yours are amazing. It's obvious you're putting a lot of work into this - the only way to do it. Which is why, I'm sure, there will be slow times in this dynasty, because you won't want to half-arse it (totally get it!).
Is Boy-Z on your regular schedule? You do get to go to the blue field, right?Comment

Is Boy-Z on your regular schedule? You do get to go to the blue field, right?- because reasons! Anyhoo, yep we'll be going on the road and I anticipate there will be a revenge factor. I appreciate the comment bro. And on to the Elgato. Yes, it does work for Mac quite well in fact... Other good aspects of it are that it's extremely easy to set up, and relatively affordable for the quality. Your HDMI goes to the elgato, USB to your PC ahemhem MAC and then another HDMI (included in the box) passes through to the TV... Plus has aspects like "time shift" where you can go back in time even if you weren't recording and make a video or take a screenshot.. Which I think will be cool for grabbing images of Coach Clark
... So I paid $140 on Amazon which is better than you'll find in the store and then also purchased a set of 15 foot hdmi cables because my computer and TV aren't within 6 feet of each other. Looking forward to getting some great pics. Should be nice looking. edit: I was going to add, I will be getting a lot more busy but I think this will continue to be a nice way for me to let off steam, sometimes I jump on and don't even play a game, just do a game update or a weekly update if I have less than an hour, and am enjoying seeing the story lines for myself - obviously the only reason to spend time on it.
