Haha. In the Chargers game I was up 2 TDs and my friend called so instead of pausing it since I thought I had won already I was talking and playing.... 2 minutes later I realized the Chargers had the ball down 7 lol. Luckily Marqise Lee did such a sick move to juke the defender and it got me the W. I have no clue what is happening to the Colts... I need to check Luck's stats later or something

The Title of the story does say Owner Dies. I am pretty sure he mean GM dies, new owner takes over as GM.

Jaguars win again, move to 4-1

In week 5, the Jaguars were finally playing at home, where they only had 1 matchup so far. The fans were pumped as the Jaguars were shockingly 3-1 and were playing a Steelers team who had a rough 1-3 start. The Jaguars got the ball first and made a powerful statement with a 6 yard run. The Jaguars would keep marching, helped by a 23 yard reception by Blackmon, but the Jaguars would get stopped and Schobee missed yet another FG and is making a case to be replaced. Big Ben got the ball and after getting an incompletion he fired to Lance Moore who took it 63 yards to the end zone helped by a fabulous block on Cyprien! The Jaguars wouldn't let it hold them back. A good return and great throws by Bortles gave Johnson a chance to punch it into the end zone, and thats what he did. On defense, the Jaguars started off well too. Dekoda Watson continued to impress with a sack on the 1st play.

After a 2 yard gain on 2nd down, the defense got to Big Ben as he was forced to throw away as the Jaguars would receive a punt. The Jaguars couldn't do anything themselves and did just what the Steelers did. The Steelers were trying to establish the run but on Bell's 2 runs he lost 3 yards. A huge sack on 3rd down would give them yet another 3 and out. The Jaguars got the ball and a 35 yard pass and 26 yard pass would lead them to the 1 yard line where Storm Johnson punched it in on the last play of the 1st quarter. After a swap of possessions the Steelers were marching and at the 14, but a fumble recovered and returned for a TD by Alualu would make it 21-7.

After an exciting first half the 2nd half started out slow. Both defenses were performing well and both teams had swapped possessions multiple times with 3 min left in the 3rd. The Jaguars changed that taking 8 minutes to get a FG. The Steelers were driving but then a tackle to Big Ben put him on the sideline indefinitely. The Steelers would move up to the 3 but get stopped as the Jaguars ran out the clock and got their 4th win of the season!

        Scouting

Mark Diaz looks great. 4 sacks in 5 games. Great physical skills with good durability and consistency. Good hit power and tackling skills too. I looked at TE Lester Fulton. Bad route running skills and average physical skills but above average hands... projected 1st round but looks like a 3rd rounder. Bob Foreman is mostly the same thing as well but looks a bit better to me.

I feel foolish that I skipped over this originally. Graphics look real good, and with your game recap approach this reminds me of my relatively successful U Kentucky dynasty earlier on this year.

Thanks. I feel like box scores don't really show enough and I like reading the recaps instead of taking all the time to put down box scores(i'll probably do it if we make the playoffs though). Good to know you're on board

Jaguars win again in nail biter with Titans

Today in week 6 of the NFL, the Jaguars and Titans faced off in a divisional matchup. The Jaguars got the ball 1st, and after a bad run got a 27 yard gain to Justin Blackmon to get to the other side of the field. Next play happened all to fast. Cecil Shorts caught the ball on a curl play in man to man and jukes out the defender to take it 47 yards for a TD! In just 3 plays, it was 7-0. Jake Locker took the field and hasn't been all that great. A bad run play led to Locker throwing on 2nd and he got hit hard which led to a bad throw and put him on the sideline indefinitely. Whitehurst came on the field and got sacked hard, so hard he fumbled! The Jaguars got the ball at the 7 but somehow were stopped to a FG.

It was 10-0 in a matter of 4 minutes and the Titans didn't like it. Dexter McCluster was going all out. 4 rushes for 26 yards. But when Whitehurst decided to throw he got an incomplete pass and sacked on 2nd down. The events would lead to a punt. The Jaguars marched up field and made it 17-0 with 1 minute left in the 1st quarter! A pick 6 and two Titans drives would make it 17-6 with the Titans getting the ball in the 3rd quarter.

In the 3rd, after a good performance from Whitehurst, Locker would come back in. But he would start off unsuccessful going 3 and out. The Jaguars would have to punt as well, and did a good job putting the Titans at the 11. After a 2 yard run, they gave it back to Dexter and when it looked like he had been tackled he shoved the defender back and used juke moves to get away from another and took it 77 yards for a TD! The Titans would go for 2 but fail to convert. The Jaguars would go 3 and out and Dexter McCluster would continue breaking tackles for the Titans as he led the team up field and got a 9 yard TD to get the lead, but the 2 pt conversion would fail so it would be 18-17. A bad turnover by the Jaguars would lead to yet another Titan touchdown, and the game went from 17-0 to 25-17.

In the 4th, the Jaguars wouldn't let this go unmarked. They marched upfield as Storm Johnson finally caught fire, but failed to convert two points as they were down 2. The Titans started off with a run play, and McCluster broke 3 tackles and gained 24 yards! Another 12 yard pass would put them in good position, but 3 sacks in a row would end the Titans run. The Jaguars would get the ball and move up field slowly but then they called a classic curl route and passed to Shorts who mimicked what he did earlier! Juking a defender and taking it all the way to the end zone to go up 4! The Titans would make a huge play themselves! A 43 yard gain by Hunter would put them 12 yards shy of the red zone. Nate Washington would then make a diving catch for 10 yards.

The Jaguars responded with a huge stack that put Locker on the sideline, and then got another one, and... ANOTHER ONE!(I edited my sliders to up pass/run block but apparently I need to up it more..) The Titans would be forced to punt and hope they get the ball back. Thats exactly what they did. A 3 and out for the Jaguars would give the Titans good field position at the 49 due to a bad punt. The Titans would go 3 and out in one of the biggest spots of the game! Johnson would get 5 yards, but then lose 3 and the next play would be huge. The men lineup and run there routes and... SHORTS MAKES A DIVING CATCH TO END THE GAME! That would be it! Bortles would take a kneel and the game would end as the Jaguars kept winning.

                Top Players:

                - Blake Bortles 17/27, 306 yd, 3 TD, 1 int
                - Charlie Whitehurst 15/20, 159 yd
                - Jake Locker 7/9, 129 yd, 1 TD
                - Storm Johnson 25 car, 80 yd
                - Dexter McCluster 18 car, 173 yd, 2 TD
                - Justin Hunter 6 rec, 106 yd
                - Cecil Shorts 6 rec, 178 yd, 2 TD
                - Mercedes Lewis 5 rec, 51 yd
                - Justin Blackmon 2 rec, 38 yd
                - Marc Mariani 5 rec, 45 yd
                - Red Bryant/Jordan Miller/Chris Clemons/Tyson Alualu 2 sacks each
                - Wesley Woodyard 5 tack, 1 int

                Scouting:

I took a look at #1 projected pick Mylan Mills. He is a SS with above average physical skills and good zone coverage. Average in man with good hit power and speed. He seems like our type of guy but not sure we would get him or if he would be the right pick for a top 10 pick. I also took a look at CB Frankie Shuler. Amazing physically and combines good man to man coverage and solid zone coverage with it. Projected late 1st round and looks like our type of guy. ~ Head Scout

                Trade Block:

Teams seem to think a 3rd rounder is acceptable for Blackmon, not realizing we would want talent in return... the Eagles did offer us Curry. ~ Front Office Specialist

I'm sad to say that 2 days ago (the 8th) my PS4 starting acting up when I was playing Madden. It resulted in me losing a lot of madden data and having to redownload Madden, which deleted my franchise

I'm definitely starting a new one(should be up in a few), won't use the Jaguars although I am sad since I did have some plans for this. Thanks for all that stuck around during the short ride, I hope you're around for the next one, as hopefully it's longer..
