2015 SEASON - WEEK 3
BILLS ESCAPE IN STEAMY MIAMI
The Bills defense was all over Ryan Tannehill in the South Florida heat.
9/27/15
Miami Gardens, FL (AP) - The Buffalo Bills bounced back on Sunday afternoon with a big 28-22 victory over their rivals from South Florida. Tyrod Taylor threw four touchdown passes, his first of the season, as the Bills improved to (2-1) and dropped the Dolphins to (2-1).
This one didn't start out great for the Bills. The Dolphins marched 76 yards on their opening drive and capitalized on Jonas Gray's four yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill. Tyrod Taylor was then picked off late in the opening quarter to setup an Andrew Franks 38 yard field goal to put the Dolphins up 10-0.
The second quarter was a complete reversal. The Bills defense stepped up, while the offense got untracked. Tyrod Taylor threw three touchdown passes, including two to former Dolphin Charles Clay as the Bills turned a 10 point deficit into a 21-10 halftime lead.
Tyrod Taylor's fourth touchdown pass of the day was probably the prettiest as he his tight end Craig Gragg down the seam for a beautiful 18 yard touchdown to put the Bills up 28-13.
The Dolphins moved the ball effectively in the fourth, but the Bills defense stiffened when necessary, holding the Dolphins to three field goals. The Bills offense was able to run out the final 1:56 behind the legs of Shady McCoy to earn their second win on the year.
The defensive lines shined in this one. Miami had six sacks of Tyrod Taylor including two from Ndamukong Suh. The Bills sacked Ryan Tannehill seven times, led by linebacker Nigel Bradham, who had a career high three sacks.
The Bills return home next Sunday to face the New York Giants (1-2). Miami (2-1) will head to London as they host the Jets (1-2) at Wembley Stadium.
Leaders:
Passing: Taylor (BUF): 17-27 235 yds, 4 TD, INT; Tannehill (MIA) 21-33 233 yds, TD, INT
Rushing: McCoy (BUF) 23 car 106 yds; Miller (MIA) 20 car 66 yds

2015 SEASON - WEEK 4
BILLS WIN SHOOTOUT
Sammy Watkins is off to the races...
10/4/15
Orchard Park, NY (AP) - The Buffalo Bills spotted the New York Giants a 17-0 first quarter lead, then stormed back and held on for a thrilling 39-36 victory at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Tyrod Taylor threw four touchdown passes for a second consecutive week as the Bills improved to (3-1) and remained in a first place tie with Miami in the AFC East.
The Giants (1-3) came out firing. Eli Manning moved them 87 yards for their first score, a six yard touchdown pass to tight end Larry Donnell, to put the G-Men in front 7-0. A long pass to Reuben Randle set up the Giants for a Josh Brown field goal to go up 10-0. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie then picked off Tyrod Taylor and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown to silence the crowd as the Giants went up 17-0.
Dan Carpenter got the Bills on the board early in the second as he split the uprights on a 34 yard field goal.
Josh Brown added a 45 yard field goal on the Giants next drive as they frustrated the Bills with a great run-pass mix. It took the Bills one play to answer, as LeSean McCoy broke off a 73 yard run on the Bills next scrimmage play to cut the Giants lead to 20-10.
An Eli Manning interception by Aaron Williams set up the Bills at the Giants 19. Three plays later, Tyrod Taylor hooked up with Robert Woods on a 12 yard touchdown to cut the Giants once huge lead to just three points.
The wild first half continued as Manning hit Reuben Randle on a five hard slant that he turned into a 62 yard touchdown to extend their lead to 27-17. The Bills would answer that score with another of their own as Taylor once again hooked up with Robert Woods, this time on a 31 yard strike to cut the lead to 27-24 late in the half.
Josh Brown hit a 29 yard field goal as time expired to end a wild first half with the Giants leading 30-24.
The teams settled down after halftime. The Giants would extend their lead with another Josh Brown field goal from 41 yards out midway through the quarter.
Tyrod Taylor led the Bills on a seven play, 61 yard drive that was capped with his third touchdown pass. This one a five yard play action pass to fullback Jerome Felton to bring the Bills to within 33-31.
The New York Football Giants would add a fifth Josh Brown field goal early in the fourth to go up by five. That would set the stage for some late game heroics from the Bills. They drove from their 19 out to midfield where they were faced with a fourth and one with 6:25 left in regulation time. Rex Ryan decided to go for it and the Bills lined up in a goal line set. Tyrod Taylor audibled out of a halfback dive play into a slant pass. He hit Sammy Watkins perfectly in stride. Watkins slipped a tackle, then stiff armed the safety and was off to the races, scoring from 49 yards away to put the Bills in front for the first time. The Bills would convert a two point conversion to go in front 39-36.
"Was that the play?" said Ryan in the post game. "No, but we trust Ty to make those decisions. He started out slow (1 for 10), but finished strong."
The Giants would get a last chance to tie it up and drove to the Bills 35 yard line late, but an Eli Manning pass to Odell Beckham in the dying seconds ended the game as he was tackled at the 17 trying to get out of bounds, while the clock expired.
LeSean McCoy continues to be a huge addition for the Bills. He accounted for 228 all-purpose yards in this one, 136 on the ground and 92 through the air on eight receptions.
The Bills will travel to Nashville next Sunday to face the surprising undefeated Tennessee Titans (3-0) and rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota.
Leaders:
Passing: Taylor (BUF) 18-37 260 yds, 4 TD, INT; Manning (NYG) 16-33 260 yds, 2 TD, 2 INT

2015 SEASON - WEEK 5
MIRACLE, PART II?
Justin Hunter makes the game winning catch in the closing seconds.
10/11/15
Nashville, TN (AP) - Nissan Stadium is a House of Horrors for the Buffalo Bills. On Sunday afternoon, backup quarterback Charlie Whitehurst hooked up with Justin Hunter for a 14 yard touchdown pass in the closing moments to help Tennessee stun Buffalo and remain undefeated with a 19-18 victory.
The teams exchanged field goals in the opening quarter before LeSean McCoy scored on an electrifying 43 yard run to open the second quarter.
Following a Ryan Succop 39 yard field goal, the Bills went three and out, but got a great punt from Colton Schmidt, pinning the Titans deep in their own territory. Nigel Bradham then sacked Marcus Mariota in the end zone to put the Bills up 12-6. Dan Carpenter would tack on a 48 yard field goal to close the half in this defensive battle.
Ryan Succop would add two more field goals to pull the Titans to within 15-12 early in the final quarter.
Stephon Gilmore would have a big game for the Bills, picking off Marcus Mariota twice, including a spectacular one handed interception late in the fourth quarter that set up a Dan Carpenter field goal.
That set up the late game heroics. The Titans drive started poorly though as Marcus Mariota got slammed to the turf by Nigel Bradham and had to leave the game. Charlie Whitehurst came in and went 8 for 9 on the drive, capping it off with the game winning score to Justin Hunter.
The Bills (3-2) will head home to take on Cincinnati (2-3) next Sunday, while the Titans (4-0) will host first place Miami next week. The game of the week will be Green Bay (5-0) and San Diego (5-0) in a battle of unbeatens at Lambeau Field.
Leaders:
Passing: Mariota (TEN) 19-33 275, 2 INT; Taylor (BUF) 13-25 202, INT
Rushing: Sankey (TEN) 28 car 133 yds; McCoy (BUF) 27 car 108 yds, TD

Re: Circling the Wagons: A Bigjdotcom01 Madden 16 CFM
The undefeated Tennessee Titans have lost rookie starting quarterback Marcus Mariota to a separated shoulder. He sustained the injury late in the game with Buffalo, missing the game winning drive. He will miss up to four weeks. Charlie Whitehurst will take over the duties at quarterback in his absence.
The rumor mills are churning out news that the Bills and Colts are in talks about a possible trade involving Colts linebacker Jonathan Newsome. The second year pro out of Ball State sits behind starter Sio Moore on the Colts depth chart at right outside linebacker. The Bills recently resigned Manny Lawson at ROLB, but would love to add a young stud at that spot. Stay tuned....Comment

2015 SEASON - WEEK 6
BILLS BACK ON TRACK
Tyrod Taylor was inconsistent, but his run game helped
10/18/15
Orchard Park, NY (AP) - The Buffalo Bills found themselves in another deep early hole, and once again dug themselves out to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 33-26 at a sun splashed Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Bills pounded the league's worst run defense piling up 251 yards on the ground in the victory.
The Bengals went in front very quickly as Reggie Nelson picked off Tyrod Taylor on the first offensive play of the game and returned it 28 yards for a score to put the Bengals up 7-0.
Mario Williams would record the first of his two sacks on the day just a few minutes later in the end zone to record a safety.
Andy Dalton would get the Bengals offense into the end zone early in the second quarter on a nifty 15 yard strike to Marvin Jones to put the Bengals up 17-2. The score followed Tyrod Taylor's second interception of the opening half.
The Bills (4-2) would go back to their bread and butter, the ground game. Bryce Brown scored on a nice eight yard sweep, and LeSeason McCoy scored right up the middle after an Andy Dalton interception to cut the Bengals lead to just one point late in the half.
A couple of Mike Nugent field goals put the Bengals up by seven points midway through the third quarter before Shady McCoy swung the game's momentum with an electrifying 63 yard touchdown run to tie the game at 23-23.
On the Bills next possession, Tyrod Taylor hit a wide open Marquis Goodwin for a 37 yard touchdown and the Bills had their first lead of the game. A Dan Carpenter 53 yard field goal late in the third extended their lead to ten and allowed the defense to harass Andy Dalton throughout the fourth quarter.
The Bills will travel to London next week as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) in Wembley Stadium. It will be the Bills first trip to London.
Leaders:
Passing: Dalton (CIN) 21-41 195 yds, TD, 2 INT; Taylor (BUF) 10-25 160 yds, TD, 3 INT

Re: Circling the Wagons: A Bigjdotcom01 Madden 16 CFM
The Bills and Colts appeared to have a deal in place that would have sent defensive tackle Andre Fluellen and a 4th round draft pick in 2016 to the Colts for linebacker Jonathan Newsome, but the Colts backed out at the last moment. It is rumored that they wanted a better draft pick and have since pulled Newsome off of their trade block. The Bills are still looking for an outside linebacker to compliment Nigel Bradham. With one week to go before the trade deadline, they may be resigned to waiting until the draft to get that player.
The Lions have lost Matthew Stafford for the season after he fractured his knee cap in Sunday's 41-3 victory over the Bears. Dan Orlovsky will take over at QB for the (3-3) Lions, who trail Green Bay for two games in the NFC North. Stafford has been plagued by injuries all season and has thrown for just 279 yards and 2 TDs.
The Chiefs have placed ROLB Dee Ford on injured reserve and signed ROLB Jacquian Williams to a one-year deal. Ford tore his groin in the Chiefs win up in Minnesota this week and will be lost for the season.
The Vikings placed defensive end Everson Griffen on injured reserve after to tore his achilles tendon in this week's loss at home to Kansas City. The Vikings fell to (1-4). They have signed Trevor Scott, a seven-year veteran out of Buffalo to replace the injured Griffen.
J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans fractured his elbow this week and will be lost for up to eight weeks.
The Steelers have lost defensive end Cameron Heyward for the season after to tore his ACL on Sunday. He was placed on season ending injured reserve.Comment

Looking good bigj. Glad to see you around these parts.
Those screenshots look smooth. You're off to a very good start. How does Tyrod Taylor and Shady McCoy's season totals looking thus far?
What areas do you want to try to improve this off-season. That roster isn't as bare as one would think. Buffalo has a nice squad this year.Click here to read my dynasty report:
