Note:I think running the ball was a little too easy in that game. The Run Blocking was just too good. I have always had it on 50, but after that performance, I will be knocking it down to 45. I may also tweak CPU run defense.

Appreciate it bro. I like the way your recruiting class is looking with the guys that have SSU as their #1 right now. If you can pull those guys they will help year 2 tremendously. Also nice first win

Re: The U-Turn: A Savannah State Dynasty

Update: I am PISSED! Turns out the roster file (JeffDLowe's) I downloaded to do this dynasty with has a boatload of players, both made-up and real, rated 99 overall that shouldn't be. And the crazy thing is, I downloaded this one because there were a lot of errors with the old one I had! So not only do I have to look up to see if players are real or fake, I have to then edit their ratings! If you have the game on Ps3, just stick with the updated rosters!

Tigers squeak by Golden Flashes 14-10
By Cliff Simmons @SB_CliffS on September 15, 2013
                  ">
Jake Durham makes a big grab.
Savannah State picked up their 2nd win of the season in somewhat of a 'Defensive Battle' highlighted by QB Antonio Bostick's 13-17, 153 yard, 1 TD passing display, not to mention 49 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground. "Again, our offense adapted," Offensive Coordinator John Eder said. "We tried to incorporate some option stuff early, but Kent's defense was just too fast and physical, and our offensive line wasn't playing its best game. We threw in some play-action passing and started to spread the field, and that's when we hit our stride. That's the best I've seen Bostick play. He completed over 75% of his passes."
"I love to have a win, but what I saw from the offense was unacceptable. We had a lot of long drives, but we just couldn't finish them off. Kent may have played great red zone D, but we played horrible red zone O. We also can't have two missed 30 yard field goals. We were lucky that our defense saved our butts. Had the Golden Flashes not come out with a dreadful offensive gameplan, we would've been creamed", Carlisle explained.
Carlisle was not exaggerating. The Tiger's D had to make 3 different stops at the end of the game to prevent Kent State from coming back. "That's a lot of pressure on a defense", Defensive Coordinator Corey Barlow commented. The Tigers had well under 100 total yards of offense in the 2nd half. Over half of Kent State's total yards came in the third and fourth quarters.
The Tigers combined for 162 yards rushing, led by Sheldon Barnes' 15 carries for 52 yards. 8 different players carried the ball at least once for the tigers.
The leading receiver was Dylan Cook. He had four receptions for 51 yards. Edward Lackey had 3 for 39 and a touchdown. TE Kris Drummond and RB Alex Simmons had 2 each, and Jake Durham had a big 33 yarder on a pivotal 3rd and 19.
Savannah State came in with a great gameplan on defense. For almost the whole game, Kent State came in I-Form: 1 TE, 1 FB, 1 RB, 2 WR. They loaded the box and had everybody blitz except for the 2 corners. The safeties had the toughest assignment: 1st priority: look out for anyone who needed to be covered. 2nd priority: give the corners support if they need it. 3rd priority: blitz. The defense executed it perfectly and Kent State was stunned.
It did a great job of limiting star RB Dri Archer, who was limited to 12 carries for 46 yards, who they forced to run inside instead of utilizing his speed and explosiveness outside. The leading receiver for KSU was James Brooks, who was 4 for 42, but no one else came close. Kent State played great defensively. Danny Gress had 9 tackles with 2 TFL, Darius Polk had 9 and one TFL, Elcee Refuge had 8, and Calvin Tiggle had 7. Savannah State's leading tackler was Safety Edward Baety, who had 6 and a TFL. Cornerback Wayne Johnson had 2 and an interception that was overturned due to an offsides penalty.
"We totally let the game slip right out of our hands", Carlisle remarked. The Golden Flashes just didn't know what to do when they caught it."

Two early wins is gonna be great for you. Shocking that your offense was so stagnant and you still won, but very happy to see that.
