With our win over Air Force, we had a flurry of commits - so its time to get involved. Simply pick a player and leave a name for them. No notes on their attributes and they may be a gem or bust - especially with my custom regression. Currently as an OC, I will note the defensive commits as well.

CFB Recap 2016, Week 10
SECOND COMMITTEE POLL OUT - MINOR SHAKEUPS
Left ranking= Current playoff rank/middle = rank +/- vs AP poll/right = last week ranking in playoff poll
The playoff committee released their second poll of the year. The top five went unchanged but Ole Miss dropped its 3rd game of the season, dropping them from #6, where many people thought they were overrated. LSU and Tennessee are now the other two 2-loss teams in the top 10 with Boise, Indiana, and Nebraska all with one loss stuck behind LSU.
Nebraska is the big mover to #9. Nebraska has a pair of key games coming up with #16 Wisconsin then a late out of conference game @ #20 Virginia Tech, who knocked off Boston College this past week.
Speaking of Boston College, both them and Virginia fell from the list of the 1-loss teams, essentially eliminating the two suprising ACC candidates from the playoff race most likely.
Alabama, despite knocking on the top 10 in the AP poll, is held below Ole Miss in the playoff poll due to their loss to the 3-loss Rebels. The Big Ten seems to be king right now, with 4 teams inside the top 9.
Right now it appears Boise State will be the group of five representative, but their lone setback is a loss to Auburn and they own a win over Nevada. The committee seems to love Nevada more than the other polls, with wins over 3 power five teams along with SDSU and a Nov. 23 game @ Florida to go.
Perhaps the committee forgot about Wisconsin last week? Wisconsin suddenly moved to #16 and faces Nebraska this week. Notably, Stanford dropped out after not playing this week and Texas fell out with a loss. TCU tumbled to #25 after a loss.
The poll will be shaken up next week for sure with 6 Top 25 matchups this week.

Re: The Rise
Is Indiana still yet to play Ohio State? Or is that there 1 loss so far... not sure what schedule you are using 😊Comment

Re: The Rise
Indiana lost to Michigan St. by a touchdown, is yet to play Wisconsin and Ohio State. They own wins over Penn State (who is ranked in the AP), Michigan, and BYU would be their three best wins.Comment

CFB Recap 2016, Week 11
TOP 25 MATCHUPS AND UPSETS SHAKE UP PLAYOFF RACE
Auburn, Michigan State, Indiana, Oklahoma, Alabama - all ranked in the top 11 last week went down on Saturday. The major change is #2 Auburn losing to 2-loss Tennessee.
Tennessee jumps to #4 despite their pair of losses in this week's top 25 - two of the worst losses of any top 25 team - to unranked South Carolina and a stunning early season loss to Texas State, a game that came in the middle of four overtime games for the Volunteers. Despite that, they own wins over Alabama, Florida and now Auburn. Auburn only falls to #5 - seeing they own wins over LSU and Boise State.
Baylor moves to #2 over UCLA with their win this past week over Oklahoma. Not a big deal as the two would play each other regardless if the playoff was held today. UCLA has to be weary of Washington, who with a win, could suddenly be in the hunt despite two losses. Miami, who has been getting disrepected from the committee according to some, vaults into the race at #11 - owning a huge win over Virginia Tech and now-ranked North Carolina.
Nebraska slapped Wisconsin by 34, and the 1-loss Cornhuskers have went from 17 to 8 in a matter of two weeks. Nevada dropped out of the top 25 with a loss, and now Southern Miss who is atop the C-USA sneaks into the picture. Western Michigan has rowed the boat into the top 25 as these group of five teams need Boise to make the playoffs or have an absolute collapse to steal a New Year Six spot.
Here is what is on tap this week:

CFB Recap 2016, Week 13-14
PLAYOFF TAKES SHAPE BEFORE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
Here's what has happened over the past two weeks:
Ohio State, Baylor, UCLA - all took care of business. Tennessee and Auburn kept winning as well, and will have a rematch for a playoff spot. Baylor has to beat Texas, Ohio State will take on Nebraska, who dropped a stunner to Iowa. A late tumble by Washington will see Stanford play UCLA for the Pac-12.
Nebraska lost, LSU lost twice, Michigan State lost twice. Miami needs a Baylor or UCLA loss and a ACC title win after a rebound by Louisville after QB Lamar Jackson has dominated since returning from early season injury.
Western Michigan sits as the top group of five team but Southern Miss lurks one spot behind, both have conference title games to win. Right now it looks like 11-1 WMU will get the nod if they win the MAC title game. If both lose, it would open the door for Western Kentucky, who will be watching the C-USA title game from the couch.
Here is what is on tap this week:
KEY GAMES, WEEK 15
B1G: #9 Nebraska vs #1 Ohio State
ACC: #6 Miami vs #7 Louisville
MAC: Bowling Green vs #15 Western Michigan
Pac-12: #12 Stanford vs #3 UCLA
SEC: #5 Auburn vs #4 Tennessee
C-USA: FIU vs #16 Southern Miss
#3 Baylor at Texas
