              Game Notes
Star Quarterback Andrew Luck makes his first start of the year after being injured.
              Division Game.

HOUSTON- Things couldn't be better for the Indianpolis Colts heading into their Week 6 Division matchup with the Texans, Andrew Luck has been cleared to play. The Star Quarterback who suffered a shoulder injury back in the Opening game of the year will look to help jumpstart a struggling offense.

"He's the leader of this team. He knows what a huge part of our success he is. It's really good to have him back." Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano stated.

"He's been our leader since day one. Great to have him back with us. We look forward to winning games and get back in the race. We're 1-4 but we're not done yet." Wide Out Reggie Wayne stated.

Wayne has just moved into the #7 spot on the ALL TIME Catch list.

"My shoulder is fine, i'm ready to get back out there and start helping this team win some games. It's still early and plenty of time to get some momentum and win some games." Andrew Luck stated.

The Texans will look to stop their rivals but it won't be an easy task as their Defense is ranked 24th overall.

"We're a mess. Bottom line. We know we have a job to do and we know it's possible with the guys in this locker room." Texans Defensive End JJ Watt stated.

"Our record reflects us right now. But we know we can turn things around and we look to do that against Indy." Jadeveon Clowney stated.

Whoever wins tonight will look to put pressure on the First Place Tennesee Titans (3-2).

Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Texans blow 24 point lead, lose to Colts on Thursday Night...

                WEEK 6 RECAP

HOUSTON- Andrew Luck started where he left off before going down with a shoulder injury. Luck was simply flawless tonight as the Colts who were down 24-0 midway through the 3rd came to life and never looked back. Luck led the Colts on four straight TD drives to mount a 24 point comeback in Houston. The Colts Defense was to much for Ryan Fitzpatrick who only completed 32% of his passes.

"It's embarrassing. I know I have to play better to lead these guys to wins. We're in a tough spot right now and I have to play better to help this team win." Texans Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick stated.

With the loss, the Texans sink to 0-5-1 on the Season and Playoffs seem like a faint hope right now.

"We're playing bad football right now. No excuses. We own it. We made mistakes, we just need to correct them with what little time we have left. " Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien stated.

The Texans find themselves in a mess moving forward.

"It's ridiculous. We can't blow huge leads like that. You won't win many games that way. We have work to do and I think the guys in this locker room know it. " JJ Watt said with a hoodie over his head.

The Colts look to continue their momentum pushing forward with Andrew Luck back. The Colts sit at 2-4.

                      RECAP NFL WEEK 9

First half of the 2014 Season is in the books. Lets take a look at the STUDS and DUDS.

                      NFC STUDS...

                      1. Green Bay Packers (8-0)

-The Packers have been hot all year. Knocking off Seattle 31-21 in SEATTLE opening night. The Packers are just dangerous and have a real good choice going 19-0. They have a top ten Defense and the Offense is #1 with Aaron Rodgers really making a case for himself as MVP. The Packers are the clear favorites to win the NFC this year.

                      2. Philadelphia Eagles (6-1)

-Chip Kelly has really done well in Philly putting together a top 5 Defense and the team has gelled perfectly with Matt Barkley as it's QB. The Eagles look poised to take the NFC East and make a solid push for playoffs.

                      3. Washington Redskins (5-3)

-In second place and hot on Philly's tail for the East title, the Redskins are solid right now. What's more amazing is that RG3 isn't hurt....yet.

                      4. New Orleans Saints (5-3)

-The Saints finally learned Defense and gave Drew Brees some help. They lead the South and look to capture it.

                      5. Seattle Seahawks (4-3)

-It's clear to everyone that this isn't the same Seahawks from last year who no one wanted to play. They still lead the West but not by much.

                      NFC DUDS

                      1. Carolina Panthers (1-8)

-After a 52-14 Blowout loss at home to New Orleans, Carolina is just a mess. The Defense is garbage and Cam Newton and the Offense is struggling like hell.

                      2. New York Giants (1-6)

-Eli Manning is having a worse year than last year. He leads the NFL with 20 interceptions to only 1 TD. ONE!!!. The reason why Tom Coughlin hasn't benched his QB is that the Backups (Ryan Nassib and Curtis Painter) play worse than him.

                      AFC STUDS

                      1. Buffalo Bills (8-0)

-Yes you're reading this right. The Bills are hot. Rocking a very solid Defense that knows how to get to the Quarterback and cause problems. What's even more interesting is that the Bills already beat New England and gave Tom Brady major problems. The downfall to this team however will be the inconsistent Quarterback Play. EJ Manuel, Dennis Dixon, and Thad Lewis have all been contributing every game behind Center.

                      2. Denver Broncos (6-1)

-In what could be Peyton Mannings last year, Denver is leading the West. The Broncos are solid this year.

                      3. New England Patriots (6-2)

-It's not common to see New England not in first this late in the season but they find themselves #2 behind Buffalo.....for now. Belichick-Brady combo should not disappoint come December.

                      4. Cleveland Browns (5-2)

-Rocking the #1 Overall Defense the Browns look to make playoffs. Just like Buffalo however, inconsistent QB play from both Hoyer and Manziel could spell disaster for this team.

                      5. San Diego Chargers (5-3)

-Looking for a rebound, the Chargers are solid and look to make playoffs.

                      AFC DUDS

                      1. Houston Texans (0-7-1)

Ryan Fitzpatrick is the starter. Enough said...

                      2. Oakland Raiders (0-6-1)

It's a miracle Dennis Allen still have a job in Oakland. The Raiders are trash this year rocking both Offense and Defense the bottom of the league. Matt Schaub is trash. The Offense is held to constant three and outs. Allen should be fired.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FOOTBALL FANS! Week 9 officially kicked off with the Saints blowing out their Division Rivals Carolina Panthers last night on Thursday Night Football 52-14.

But that was then.. Today we're talking about the 5-2 Cleveland Browns who are having a Quarterback Controversy to say the least.

                          Brian Hoyer has 381 yards 4 TD's 3 picks 88.9 Rating.

The Rookie Sensation Johnny Manziel 977 yards 8 TD's to 8 picks 81 Rating.

Yet both Quarterbacks have contributed to the Team's 5-2 start by each playing in the games. The Browns also have the #1 Defense as well.

In an interview earlier this week, Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine has stated:

"I will continue to play both Hoyer and Manziel in games. Both Quarterbacks are contributing to our success."

BELIEVELAND- It's going to be a cold clear day in Cleveland when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to town with a battle with the red hot Browns. Temperatures to hit around 40 degrees and all eyes will be on new Starter Johnny Manziel.

"I've played in cold games before." Laughed Johnny Manziel. "It's nothing new to me. I promise you all I'm gonna lead this team to victory and we're making playoffs."

                            Big words Johnny. Big words.

"It's our goal. He's confident. He wants to win as much as we do." Browns Running back Ben Tate stated.

The Browns appear to be on a mission not having made playoffs since 2002. They rock the #1 Defense right now and Head Coach Mike Pettine couldn't be happier.

"These are a great group of guys in this Locker room. I'm proud of this Football team and we all have the same goal in common. Tampa is our next challenge and we'll be ready." Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine stated.

Indeed it will be a great challenge as Tampa (4-3) rocks the #5 Defense.

JOHNNY MANZIEL STRUGGLES AS BUCCANEERS CAPITALIZE ON MANZIELS 5 INTERCEPTIONS FOR 20-17 WIN....

CLEVELAND- Johnny Manziel sat at his locker with his head buried in a towel. He spoke very little if not at all. The Rookie Quarterback did put the loss on himself today. He threw 5 picks to the Buc's 5th ranked Defense and two of them was courtesy of Rookie Chris Sparks who helps make up the Tampa dangerous Secondary.

"He's a good Quarterback. Today wasn't his day but that doesn't mean he can't bounce back. We're a very dangerous secondary and he learned that today. " Buccaneers Cornerback Chris Sparks stated.

"Much love to Johnny Football. He'll bounce back. " Buccaneers Rookie Corner Erik Simmons stated. He too, had a pick of his own.

"I failed my teammates. I let them down today. I let myself down. I let our fans down. I put this all on myself. It's my fault. I'll play better and work harder next week." Browns Quarterback Johnny Manziel stated.

It wasn't all bad for Johnny Football today. He did have 2 TD's and 305 yards.

"Johnny is a real talent. We drafted him for a reason. He's a rookie still finding his way and learning the NFL. He's our Quarterback and starter moving forward. He's earned the Respect of every guy in here." Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine stated.

"He really beats himself up over a loss. It's not all on him though. We all need to play better." Browns Running back Ben Tate stated.

He had 73 yards on 22 carries against the Tampa Defense.

"Gotta tip my hat to Cleveland. They're a really tough Football team. " Buccaneers Head Coach Lovie Smith stated.

The Bucs move to 5-3 and tie with the Saints for First place in the NFC South.

"Cleveland's Defense really gave me some struggles. I have to give credit where credit is due. They really made me work today." Buccaneers Quarterback Josh McCown stated.

The veteran of 8 NFL teams had a solid day of his own against the Browns Defense. 295 yards 2 TD's and a pick. 108.7 Rating.

"I trusted Josh (McCown) to lead this team and he's done that. He knows how to lead and give us the best chance to win games. We're lucky to have him here in Tampa." Head Coach Lovie Smith stated.

The Buccaneers will have plenty of time off before hosting Atlanta at home next Sunday.

"It will feel good to get back to Tampa and away from this cold." Joked Bucs Running back Doug Martin with a grin.

Martin rushed for 77 yards on 26 carries.

The Browns will have a short week as they must prepare for a Thursday Night Showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals.

"We have a short week to prepare for so we have to put this loss behind us and look towards the Bengals." Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine stated.
