The playing career of James Bayse

Hi everyone. This will be my third attempt at a dynasty on this site. What tends to happen with me is I start a dynasty and become really invested until the game wears out on me or life gets in the way. So I wanted to try something completely unique with this dynasty. I will attempt to take a created player from high school football to the NFL hall of fame. I will be starting my career as the quarterback of Harding University High School in charlotte, NC. From there I will chose which college I wish to attend and continue his playing days at the collegiate level. Finally I will use his final stats and overalls to start a career on madden 18 and finish his playing days.

I will be using BuffEyeRosters 13-14 rosters go NCAA 13 on the Xbox 360 for the high school and college portion of my career.

For the NFL portion of my career I will be using the 17-18 madden pre season roster as it aligns with the draft class of my senior year.

I hope that you guys enjoy this.

                *buzz. Buzz. Buzz*

James looks down at the phone on his desk. He has three unread messages. He glances up to make sure a teacher isn’t looking before unlocking his phone and checking the texts.

                “You ready?”
“Week 1 baby, lets show them what it’s all about here at the U”
“I even heard that coach Swinney might be here. At least someone from Clemson will be”

Nervous butterflies erupted in James stomach. After all he was only a few short hours from beginning his senior season. And James really had not thought about where he wanted to attend the following year. Yeah he had a few offers to smaller programs such as James Madison university and Winston Salem but the fact that Clemson university would be here for week one. James was expecting Duke, UNC, maybe even USC. But not Clemson.

                *RINGGG RINGGG*

The final bell goes off signaling the end of the school day. James looks back at his phone and sends a quick text.

“I’m ready. Let’s go put on a show.”

Defense leads the way early in the season

As we wrap up week 2 in this football season we will highlight the Rams from Harding University High School.

The rams are currently at 2-0 thanks in part to stellar defensive performances. First they overcame the turnover bug in week one to beat West Meck 34 to 14.

Bayse breaks the plane vs West Meck

Bayse struggled early in the contest giving up 2 easy INTs on forced passes. However he found his rhythm in the second half to lead his team to victory.
Final stat line week 1: 27 of 41 passing, 256 yards, 2 passing TD, 1 Rushing TD, 2 INT.

In week two the defense once again was solid shutting out East Meck 35 to 0.
Bayse had a better go of things this week posting a stat line of: 22 of 36 passing, 311 yards, to go along with 3 passing TDs.

Next up for the Rams is a home game vs the Providence Panthers

Re: The playing career of James Bayse

                      Clemson University Official Scouting Report

                      Prospect name: James Bayse
High School: Harding university high school
                      City: Charlotte
                      State: NC

                      40 time: 4.68 seconds
                      Bench: 13 reps @225
                      Squat: 425 max rep
                      Vertical: 22.75 inch

Positives: great arm, above average mobility. Can locate the hard throws and has a great sense of where he is on the field. Mechanics are near perfect. Has all the intangibles that cannot be taught.

Negatives: Too many turnovers. Forces the ball into coverage. Not sure he can read a collegiate defense. Doesn’t know if he is a pocket passer or a scrambler.

Coach Notes: Preferred walk on IMO. Struggles with turnovers at the high school level. Backup for 2 years and maybe earn a scholarship and or starting job if he develops.

James was furious. His scouting report from Clemson had been leaked online. Now every power 5 school in the nation would see it and pass on him. Clemson had kind of become his top choice heading into the season because it was still close enough to home in case of emergencies but also far enough away for him to grow into his own person. And here they are saying they wouldn’t even offer. Just as James goes to re-read his report his phone goes off beside him. He picks it up and sees an incoming call from Norfolk, VA.

                      “Hello?”
“Hi James. This is coach Bobby wilder with the Old Dominion Monarchs”
“Hi coach. How are you?” James replies
“Im great, now I was calling because we would like to offer you a full scholarship to become a member of the monarch nation”
“Thank you coach” James says quickly.
“We believe you can be an impact player in your very first year here and can turn into our quarterback of the future. I’ll send you all the details in a few. Goodbye”

James puts down his phone in amazement and looks back at his laptop, his scouting report from Clemson still on the screen. Quickly he closes that tab and opens a new one and begins to type in the search bar. Old Dominion University....

                          Harding improves to 5-0

This matchup was supposed to be a close well fought game. Many were calling it a preview of the state title match. 2 teams came in undefeated the Rams came out on top 37-14

Leading the way was SR QB James Bayse who went 30 of 40 for 397 Yds and 4 TD. When asked about his play he had this to say “I gotta give credit to those around me, the receivers for going up and making plays. The lineman for giving me time and my coaches for making this all happen. It was a great win and now we prepare for the next one.”

When asked about is recruitment process he responded “yeah I have a few offers, Old Dominion was the first to offer me and I would say they are leading right now. I also have offers from Memphis and Middle Tennessee state and have been contacted by several ACC schools such as UNC, VA Tech, and Miami.”

Harding moves to 6-0 take to a strong second half.

For once Harding University looked beatable. The star QB had thrown 3 first half INTs as the Olympic Trojans took a 21-14 lead into the locker room at half. That lead did not last long as QB James Bayse came out a brand new person in the second half leading the rams to a 45-21 victory with a stat line of 27 of 37 for 396 Yds and 5 TDS. He also added 91 Yds and a rushing TD on the ground.
