Sam Hudson refuses to sign contract extension

According to Jay Gruden, Sam Hudson has decided to not sign an extension with the Redskins. "It's disappointing," said Gruden. "We love the kid and he's led us to three straight Super Bowl trips. It's a shame that he's decided to look elsewhere to continue his career, but we wish him all the best."

Le'Veon Bell will be carrying the load in terms of the ground game for the foreseeable future for the Redskins. "We've had a great relationship in the two years that we've played together," Bell said. "We've won two Super Bowls together and I think we'll always have a good relationship."

Credible sources inside of the organization have reported that Hudson has decided to move away from the organization partially because of the lack of touches that he got throughout the playoffs. Hudson has declined to comment.

Sam Hudson signs with the Tennessee Titans

Sam Hudson has reportedly signed a 3-year, $23 million contract with the Tennessee Titans. This news comes just two weeks after the Redskins reported that Hudson had decided not to sign a contract extension with the franchise.

"I look forward to working with the Titans organization and the players," said Hudson in his press conference today. "I'm especially excited to work with Derrick [Henry] because I feel like we can be a dynamic duo."

The Titans meet with the Redskins in the third week of Preseason in Landover. Hudson will make his return to Washington then.

I know I would say I would play the Super Bowl if we got to it, but I decided against it because I felt it would be better to go into a couple day break knowing what team Hudson was going to be on. Also, I didn't want to leave it right before the Super Bowl, even though that probably would've built up the suspense.

Regardless, Sam is on the Titans now, who went 6-10 this past season. They might be a little bit harder to bring all the way to the Super Bowl, but we'll see. I might start setting some restrictions on myself, but I'm kind of enjoying where I'm at right now.

Also, I meant to say, I realized when I was fixing the team checklist on the first page that I'm basically going in reverse-alphabetical order. I know no one would have noticed if I hadn't said anything, but I thought that it was kind of funny.

That's it from me for the time being. If you haven't been reading it or you've fallen behind, make sure to read up on it before I start my stint with the Titans (:

                            2020 Week 4: Tennesse Titans (2-1) @ Indianapolis Colts (0-3)

After 3 weeks with the Titans, Hudson looks to continue his growth with Tennessee and have a big game against division-foe, the Indianapolis Colts.

After a stop against the Colts, the Titans marched down the field, which was capped off with a highlight-reel juke that led to a touchdown for Sam Hudson. Hudson was able to score on the Titans' second drive after the defense was able to hold Indianapolis once again. The Titans scored a field goal to end the half.

In the second half, the Colts were able to bring the game within two possessions after scoring a touchdown. After a field goal, the Titans gave up another touchdown to Indianapolis, bringing the game within a touchdown. However, Tennessee was able to hold on to the win and grab another divisional win.

Tennessee Titans 20, Indianapolis Colts 14

                            TEN: 7 // 10 // 0 // 3
