Re: #SWARM - RELOADED
I agree! Might grab Madden to make some classes, I do have Madden 25 but the simming in that takes too long, no option to sim a season.
Thanks for commenting guys! Boise game out soon enough.Comment

Re: #SWARM - RELOADED
Henderson, Swarm start season off right
Report by Isaac Robinson | September 6th, 2020
515 total yards, 5 TD for Henderson -- Stephen Parham impresses on his debut -- Questions on defense as Broncos throw 71 times for over 400 yards
B.J. Henderson went over 500 total yards, winning NCAA player of the week and putting the Swarm at 1-0
Boise, ID -- Last season, Eric Monroe dropped a Hail Mary at the goal line to cost Westlake State the game. This time around, he caught a deep ball to set up the game-winning touchdown with under a minute to go.
Last season, Martez Scott ran for 297 yards and 6 touchdowns, both Boise State records, on his way to a breakout 1100 yard season. This year? The dynamic junior took a backseat to his backup, rushing just 9 times for 47 yards with no touchdowns compared to Trey Crowder's 9 tries for 75 and 2 scores.
Why just 18 total carries? Well, Skip Holtz must have decided to throw Dion Barkley for a loop after last season's rushing showcase, as in Andrew Henry's first career start, he threw a whopping 72 times, completing 51 of those throws for 429 yards and 2 touchdowns.
It almost worked. Westlake State couldn't stop the dink and dunk passing game, as the Broncos kept it close throughout, keeping pace with B.J. Henderson's air and ground assault.
Henderson got going early, finding his star man Xavier Meeks for 2 touchdowns in the first quarter, then Robert Coley for one in the 2nd, with a Johnny Nash rushing score in between to make it 28-21 at the half. It should have been 35-21, but some questionable clock management and playcalling saw the Swarm fail to get a spike off from the 3 as time expired in the first half.
Meeks caught a short curl route and did the rest himself
The game briefly ground to a halt, with the Swarm punting twice to start the second half as Boise managed a pair of field goals. A 33 yard run from Henderson (one of 3 20+ yard scrambles he had), sparked a drive that ended in Coley's second touchdown of the game.
Boise State ended the 3rd, and began the 4th with a long drive that Trey Crowder capped off with his second rushing score of the game to cut the Westlake State lead to 2. Boise State went for 2, and Ed Thompson made a tough grab over the middle to tie up the game.
Trey Crowder ran well on limited carries
Westlake State scored, as Henderson completed 5 straight passes before running it in himself from 8 yards out, then Boise State went 3 and out. A score would end the game, and the Swarm looked primed to get it, but Henderson got greedy, making a risky would-be TD pass that Ross Campbell jumped in front of at the 3 to give Boise State another shot.
They made the most of it, as Henry led a 15 play touchdown drive, scoring with 49 seconds to go, tying up the game at 42.
Some quarterbacks get rattled after throwing a pick, especially when it's in a big spot. And a couple seasons ago, B.J. Henderson may have been one of those quarterbacks. Not anymore. After a quick completion to Barrett Miller, Henderson completed his first deep ball of the day, finding the speedy Eric Monroe for a 50 yard catch-and-run, setting up Johnny Nash to punch it in from 4 yards out.
Play of the game here
Several Swarm players made their debuts today, with none more impressive than defensive end Stephen Parham. The true freshman made 3 tackles, all of them for a loss, with one of them being a strip sack that set up a scoring drive. Redshirt freshman linebacker Davion Williams also played well, with a pair of tackles for a loss.
Parham's strip sack
"Huge to have the freshmen step up," said Barkley. "Never easy to make your debut, but they made plays and helped us to a win."
The Swarm have a bye week before their home opener, where they'll host Kalispell.

Re: #SWARM - RELOADED
I think it's a solid start for Vader, playing the #1 then the #25 teams is rough. Gray tore his knee in that Miami game though...Last edited by young22; 11-04-2020, 05:12 PM.Comment

Re: #SWARM - RELOADED
Y3 G2 Preview - vs Kalispell
Coach Barkley's Take
Should go 2-0 here. Hakim Johnson is a good QB, very smart with an OK arm. Can run a bit but it's a last resort. Tyron Brantley and Joe Gray are a great power-speed combo who could gve our front 7 problems. The wideout group is OK, nothing on ours though. Tua Panahi, the slot guy, worries me the most. Great route runner, good hands.
Defensively, Jamal Doucette is a beast. Great speed off the edge, good pass rush moves, and strong. Ben Hall at safety has great range and hits like a truck, but they're weak at SS, and aside from Jim Carroll, don't have good corners.
We're going to throw it a lot, spread out this defense, and hopefully get the deep ball going a bit more than we did last week.Comment

Is it possible to Draft NCAA 14 Classes into Madden 15? Or was Madden 25 the last Madden to do that?Comment
