Alright, so boom. This is my career franchise for my created QB Jalen Grymes. This takes place at the start of the 2019 NFL preseason. I originally was gonna do this three years ago! Life among other things got in the way. I’ll be running this on Madden 20 for a few reasons:
1. Flexability. Madden ever since 25 has gotten away from doing career within franchise mode. This year they got rid of owner mode all together. As flawed a game as Madden 20 is at least I can do a single player franchise as well as control the other 32 teams to ensure we dont get janky drafting and wild free agency/coach firings & hirings/roster moves. I also will be using my own draft classes that I downloaded over the years and tweaked as best as I can to reflect real life.
2. Gameplay. Madden is on the same engine it's been on for years and for better or worse, Madden 20 for me is the best of a meh situation. I'll be playing on All-Pro with my own game sliders and XP sliders to ensure things are challenging yet fair as best as possible. Don't expect a Super Bowl run in year one.
I'll add recordings of highlights for each game in the career along with stats. I'll also might do highlights of the playoff games as well as the Super Bowl. Hope you all enjoy!
