"Well Darren, we have Clemmensen but Weekes and Brodeur are getting up there in age. The two options we have are Mitchell Schneider, and Martin Brodeur Jr, the problem is that there are so many great prospects out there."
"Lou, what specific goals do you have for this season?"
"I think we have a team that can win a cup, that is definetaly goal number 1, I'd like to have a 50 goal player on the team but thats a little far off."

Gary Bettman walked to the podium, "Will the Islanders please come to the stage for this OS entry draft."
Garth Snow rose to the stage, "With the first pick of the OS entry draft the New York Islanders are proud to select Peter Carey." Carey who is a playmaking center rose to the stage and threw the jersey over his suit and slaped his cap on. Thats how it continued with the Lightning taking the butterfly goalie Juuso Alho, the Avalanche taking the playmaking left wing Alex Harrison, the Thrashers taking the huge D man Kyle King and LA taking the short D man Zach Larson.
The Coyotes made a surprise by taking the worst player in the draft, right wing sniper Jeff Shannon. The Leafs followed that up with offensive defensman Scott Easterbrook, Dallas took another surprise in offensive defenseman Jack Sneider. The Sens nabbed great winger James Aldridge and the Oilers took center Kyle Anderson.
The Preds hopped in drafting center Gibbey Gibson. The Wild stoll winger Ernie Volpe, The Sabres took power forward Nick Barry and the Panthers took tough defenseman Dan Stone. Adam Lewis went to the Ducks to hit the half way point.Comment

The next picks went like this, The Bluejackets took huge prospect right wing Scott Quickel, and the Blues stole Mitchell Schneider with the 17th pick, The Canadians took Clark Ainsley with the 18th before Pat Cosgrove went to the Rangers. Bettman rose to the podium to say that the Flames have traded the 20th overall pick to the Devils for the 23rd pick. Luo Lameriello Martin Brodeur Brent Sutter and the rest of the Devils staff walked to the stage. "With the 20th pick," Brodeur anounced, "The New Jersey Devils are proud to draft Martin Brodeur Junior."
The Flyers took the stage with the 21st pick and drafted great 2 way center Nick Ritt. The Nucks and Flames took Eric Hunter and Devon Platana respectiveley, the Caps took Joshua Ormand, and the Bruins took Stephen Holley.
The final five picks belonged to the Sharks, Canes Hawks Wings and the Penguins. The Sharks took Steven Raczkowski, the Canes took Andrew Dellapina, the Hawks took Bryan Hurst, the Wings snagged Derrick Thomas and the flightless birds took Jason Skyland to close out the draft.Last edited by BoltsBananza91; 07-22-2009, 07:15 PM.Comment
